Hello everyone!

Everyone knows that the last year has become extremely unproductive in the world of rep pams for all known reasons.

One way or another, many of us received some kind of new watches, found many old models, or simply joined recently, and just started to get sick with this addiction.

There is not much time left until the end of the year, and no one knows what the m2m luck will have in store for us, what models will be made by factories that are not affected by raids, or what the old stock VSF sales will bring us, but I propose to share my current collection in general here.

You can see your group photos as a report, individual reps that came out this year, or old ones that you managed to buy in 2021.

You can talk about your experience and contribution for this year to the collection, or simply show what you managed to collect, or fix the state without changes. Or maybe your collection has been strong for many years, and during the last one you have not measured anything: too good, just show what is, and tell us why you did not consider it necessary to add something to it.
Or maybe this year is the start of your hobby? Do you have your first rep pam? Show them here!
The year was different for everyone. It does not matter. It is important that this is the end of the year 2021 and your rep panerai!

Go!

I would really like to make a thread on my collection, and maybe one day I will, but for now I'd like to share with you a couple of nice pieces I managed to score this year. For the sake of discussion I will limit myself to what is strictly "rep", thus no builds.

First off is a 026K with an awesome patina I acquired from a great member on HF, maybe H factory or an early noob v2.5. Strap is a genuine nubuck alligaator in gold color, very similar to the legendary Jules Verne:

Second in line is my first modern Panerai in a while, it's the VSF 1663. I think I could snag one of the last coming to the market.
They say case is titanium, although not the same as the genuine article (made of patented fibratech material), the craftmanship is incredible in my humble opinion. Presented on rep strap.

Going back to my old habit, here's a noob 220 299 I got in a fortunate deal. Watch is in awesome conditions and the level of detail in noob watches is still to be matched I think. Strap from my old friend Alfio from Bakeka:

I hope KOT1917 will not be mad at me if I steal his idea and make a similar thread on vintage PAMs ;)

Keep it going guys!!

I just counted, and found out to my own astonishment, that I purchased 10 PAM's this year - all m2m on RWI.

Before that I had only one - the PAM 616 Submersible carbotech. I was always intrigued by the design of Panerai's and the distinctive crown-guard that makes many models so famous.

But it was only this year that I really started getting into Panerai and adding them to my collection. Although being into this hobby for a couple of years, it was only in the beginning of this year when I started out as a member of this family on RWI. I made my first steps here, and luckily found a very friendly and well-known gentleman-seller and Panerai connoiseur here on this forum who trusted a newbie-buyer and made my first purchase of a Panerai possible - JayBee0815 . My love for Panerai has grown ever since and there are (many) more models on my wishlist.

I will start my contribution to this thread by showing my first Panerai-purchase m2m on RWI on the 21st of May 2021 - the unique/custom PAM 672 Firenze:

Thanks for sharing, kilowattore !

Good finds for this year.

I appreciate PAM026, this is something that is not easy to find in our time, and given how many variations and factories there were, you often do not have to choose.

PAM1663 is generally one of the most beautiful REP VSFs for my taste, and my favorite 2020 release. The material of the VSF case is most likely the same carbotech, just gray, in contrast to the specific fibratech from which gen. However, this is definitely not a titanium. Probably not soon we will see such exotic materials in rep pams, if vsf does not return (although, okay, I will not talk about raids at least here:))
Someday I will add this model to my collection.

On the latter, I just wanted to comment that you probably wanted to say that this is PAM299.
The PAM220 is its predecessor which was produced for only a few years (H,I,J), before the release of PAM299, and in its first two series it featured an open "6" polished fine CG, and an old-style bracelet and did not have a quick-change strap system (in those years, an interesting fixing scheme was used on one main screw rod and a pair of small screws to attach sel to each lug.

However, this does not negate the fact that REP PAM299 is one of the most accurately made replicas of all time.

This is definitely not the case for this year (I will make my report on 2021 a little later), but I can't help but support your choice with my photos:

On account of the thread about the developments in vintage pams - a good idea! I won't have anything to share there, but I'll take a look!

You sure know your stuff mate, I searched high and low and was sure it was 220 but now that you pointed out the sensible details you are so obviously right! PAM299 it is, I will edit my post so I won't forget it :)

The bad situation in China was, at least for me, also an opportunity to strike here on the M2M - and plenty of it. From that point of view, the year was not even bad for me. Since you don't always just chase after the new releases, you also had the leisure to read through the old, highly interesting reviews. RWI offers a real treasure trove here, especially in the Pam section. Who knows if I would have learned so much if there had been new models all the time?

Here are some highlights of the M2M treasures I found ...

I would guess that around half of these were purchased in 2021... Covid has kept me from traveling as much as I typically do, so I had time on my hands (pardon the pun). Oh - and excuse the AP's, they are occupying slots vacated by PAM's that are out being serviced or modded as the AP box is also stuffed to overflow! Next year my focus will likely shift to a few builds of references that I covet like the 203.

WOW, looks like you have a PAM Family of PAM's.

Did not see a rep Rolex, why is that?

The year might not have turned out to be as active as many here (whose traffic of a watch may be at the level of a small local dealer), but I will share what went through my hands:

1.PAM005 HF, which later received a caseback from PAM318, and required also a change of hands and possibly movt., For utmost precision to gen. The project was not finished, there were no hours, but the photos remained:
2.PAM346 V6F, which, like all Radiomirs to blame me, went through a typical scenario: Long time to want to receive - to receive - not to use - to start wanting another radiomir. :)

3.PAM312 VSF came across to me quite by accident, did not stay long, but left a useful experience and pleasant impressions about a high-quality and not catchy watch:

4.PAM024 DSN, which was a dream of mine for a long time, and later, was equipped with a dial from PAM170 DSN, which turned it into a fantasy watch, but for me it is still aesthetic and much more interesting. Moreover, it is difficult to obtain a whole PAM106 / 170 nowadays, or even just a combined SS / TI case.

5.SLOB DSN, which was going for a long time in parts, because there was no way to get the whole, and it is not ideal now, but nevertheless, for me it is one of the most exotic rep pam ever:

6.PAM243 HF, stayed not long, gave a positive impression and formed a clear understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of HF243 relative to NOOB243.

7.And of course, PAM057 DSN is the best rep pam I have and have. Without a doubt, the biggest event of this year for me:

So many PAMs yet there are few that just melts my heart whenever I see it. One of them is the 005, the other is the pam753. Both share the same design language. Thick, white-ish sandwich lume, and a logo. Chefs kiss.

For me it was finding a VSF PAM 382 and VSF PAM 968 which will soon be sent to me from a RWI TD.

Might be time to try a PAM Carbotech.

I saw the PAM 382 and 507 for the first time at the beginning of the 2021, and it was love at first sight.

I feverishly search the net, and found RWI, but talk about bad timing.

The raids were happening and none of the TDs I contacted had a single bronzo.

I looked around for alternatives, bought a few homage watches etc, but nothing eases the longing, and I keep coming back to the 382 and 507.

I know what I want, but until I get one I have no pictures to post.

If anyone out there has one to sell, message (I am in the UK)

So, alas, I have nothing to post, as I have yet to get my first PAM rep.

You lot don't know how luck you are....
