Hi , would a deep crystal does the trick too you reckon ? I am kinda of a sucker for proper Ar on dark dials… cheersSweet, also crystal is same as on DJ so should not be crazy expensive as a SD 43 or other special ones...
I don’t want to take a new watch to a watchmaker right away. No way. Hopefully, Clean Factory will improve the QC for this watch. Their QC is generally excellent.Easy fix for watch maker to realign the bezel insert with the bezel ring to your liking if this is something that bothers you.
You are the opposite of me. I take new watches immediately to a watch maker to ensure water proofness, check movement, ensure everything is ok, and often crystal swap.I don’t want to take a new watch to a watchmaker right away. You can find parts and crystals here, for example. How does someone order a DJ41 gen crystal, and what is common price? I mull if needed - maybe for my eyes, it won't matter.
Are you going to reply to every single watch in this thread with this tool and the bezel alignment? It will get tiring very quickly. Once again, a watch maker can make the alignment perfect, less than $30-50. And if you don't like it and want it perfect OOTB, noone is forcing you to buy this watch....
Believe me, many forum members appreciate these kinds of details and find them valuable. Not everyone lives in a country where qualified watchmakers are easy to find. But I guess it’s easy to be dismissive when you’ve never had to ship a watch abroad just to get it serviced properly. Are you going to reply to every single watch in this thread with this tool and the bezel alignment? Bro, you live in Europe, you have so many qualified watch makers, shipping in the EU is not really shipping abroad, and maybe this is a sign, if you're picky, learn the skills to do simple bezel realignment.....Believe me, many forum members appreciate these kinds of details and find them valuable. "Bro", appreciate the advice, but let’s keep it real. Not everyone in Europe lives next to a top-tier watchmaker, and shipping across borders still involves delays, costs, and risks. Expecting every watch enthusiast to become a part-time technician to fix manufacturer issues is an interesting take. Maybe I am picky, but I just think it should come properly aligned. Wild thought, I know.Bro, you live in Europe, you have so many qualified watch makers, shipping in the EU is not really shipping abroad, and maybe this is a sign, if you're picky, learn the skills to do simple bezel realignment.....
