Went for the 2 tone. I have a GMF gold DayDate that is being plated by Flan currently, didn't fancy another all gold watch.

Will you be getting this plated by Flan as well? Curious to see how his YG two tone plating job looks.

Funny you should mention the DD since I originally wanted the green roman dial version. But now I decided on the 126718GRNR and it will be re-plated by flan. Just have to wait for the funds before I pull the trigger.

Waiting till I get the GMT in hand and see how good/bad the gold is in real life before making that decision.
Good news is shipping is saying it should be with me tomorrow!

Looks very decent to me.Update: actual QC pictures of both color, they are available now
Most of those who comment here should know the watch wears stickers and what is taken for a cheddar colour is also a different contrast level in the photos taken. There's no way in comparing different pictures. The only way is comparing two in the same light conditions. There's also a difference between the plating and the Au750, isn't there ?

I can confirm the bezel is the same as other cleans (no surprise) and does not click like a gen. Need to fix the how to and clean it up.
Here is one alongside my VSF Starbucks. I think the xtal is pretty good on this new clean, unless I’m being blind I don’t see any real reason to do a xtal swap

Cant day that I agree with the whole "looks like cheddar ". Gold looks just a tas bit darker but no where near cheddar.
If possible please take some shots in sunlight so we can get a real look at the bezel and how the grey plays like in the sun.
