Gen handstack looks tighter - hands appear closer together.

Gen might have thinner hole surrounds

Nothing new. Since V1 my microscope told me the GMT hands are better paintjob then genuine 6digit GMT hand.
Genuine from a 11... Batman from a friend (credit to him, not my picture):

Back in the day Rolex would actually fix shit like that. I sent my 16710 to RSC NY in 1990 (it was only a few months old) because the minute hand had a very noticeable black dot in the lume plot. They replaced the hand free, no questions asked.

My friend is a hobby watchmaker and modder for reps also, he brought his gen gmt to Rolex AD because keyless works made noise and winding was sandy and you could feel the gears. After free fixing (warranty), the receipt said that the date quickset worked well.

1. he said WINDING was a problem
2. QUICKSET on a gmt? Wtf

Rolex just gives a shit cause they know they can. Thats all.

The green hand in clean is shorter than gen
Yes mate, you are rught! but this seems to be not important, nobody remarked it ....for me is a stupid fail, as for the first version of minute hand in the Clean PEPSI...sure they fix it in V2.

It's pretty unnoticeable on wrist. 50x zoom will make any small issue big. And it's not a big deal because if you mind the 0.1mm difference, gen hands are only few hundred dollars to replace.

I want to give my contribution to the cause
the stock cf gasket was 3.06 unfortunately I don't know the height of the stock crystal because it has already been replaced and I hadn't read this discussion.
I had a vs xtal installed but I don't remember whether it was from the sub40 or DJ36
however the xtal currently installed is 1.9 with a 2.5 gasket the pointer touches the glass I had a 2.7 gasket installed

I am having the GMT for some days now and I am very very happy with it. I won't upgrade or change anything on it. But to be honest - this is my first Rep, so I think I am not the reference for tipps...

Having Tudor / ORIS Gen-Watches and I am very surprised what quality the Reps are made. The only think I am wondering is the noise of the rotor, sounds like scratching metal on metal. Somebody having same issues?

That should not be. I hade several DD3285 on my bench with loose rotor skrews, maybe check on that to avoid further damage

Thank you, very helpful for me. Already told the TD (he said it is normal), will text him again.
Sure he said its normal. But what can he do from china?:) just have it checked from a watchmaker, he can say if its ok or not.
No need blaming/bothering your TE, here are your packages during shipping, so you see things can get loose:

Hey guys,

does anyone have also a comparison with ARF? Because a modder told me that I should opt for ARF as the dial and bezel should be superior. When I look at the photos I really recognized that especially the imprint of the bezel numbers is quite different between Clean and Gen (somehow „deeper“ than the gen one).
