Hi everyone!

It’s been a long time since our last post, I miss you guys so much.

It took us a long time to get this Gen piece to make this comparison, they are lovely.

The first thing we notice is the gray part of the bezel insert, Clean’s is slightly darker than Gen under the studio light, but comparing to the 126713 it’s still better. I noticed that the gray would change under different angle and light, which is very close to the original reflection. It’s really an impressing color matching among the limited time.

The transition of the black and gray color is also smooth and even.

The only thing I found that is not perfect enough is the bezel fillings, the engravings of the numbers are not as smooth as gen, it also makes the fillings seem less shiny/white than gen. It’s not really noticeable on the wrist though.

That's all for today, I will see you next time!

Great close up pics @CTime you always come through, thank you! One extra pic that would really be useful is a level side profile that shows the crystal height relative to the top of the bezel rim / insert.

CLEAN makes a great rep, no doubt. Overall this one should be no exception.

The clasp flaw is surely a one-off QC issue so no real worries there.

The crystal gasket height is too tall making the date mag too great and too bold.

A shorter height gasket could fix this, if the second hand would still be clear of the crystal underside.

Thanks CTime! Posts like this are simply amazing (and why I continue to purchase with you) as you really support our community.

The coronet printing on the Clean actually looks cleaner than Gen... wowza.

The green print on the Gen looks slightly lighter than CF but overall it's an amazing rep. I've been wearning mine almost non-stop!

Agreed. I've been wearing mine quite often as well and was very curious to see how close to gen the insert is. Looks pretty damn close and its such a nuanced color as it can change so drastically from a lighter grey to almost black depending on lighting, which I see is also the case w/ the gen insert.
I assume there will be updates to the insert (as always) but is it even worth swapping out at this point..

Anyone know what size gasket with a Deep xtal would get the date to be same magnification as gen?

2.5mm is the slimmest you can go, and you will probably have to push the seconds hand on further. I am still not sure it's enough to get the correct magnification; I wonder if part of the issue is the date wheel itself.

It seems to be the date wheel, because it is bold and not centralised. I have a sub here that I thought was the gasket but wasn’t

Gasket is definitely too high, DW may be a tad bold but would look better (maybe OK) with a shorter gasket. The gen 7035 crystal gasket is 2.25mm. IDK if Rolex made the hand collars shorter or what.
