@KJ2020 - probably a stupid question but is the DD3285 compatible with gen datewheels that I have in my VR3186's?

Considering getting these new DD3285 versions but would like to swap in my gen xtal/dw's from current builds.
No they are not the same bro as the 3285 is based on the 3235. The gen (and DD3285) 126x GMT takes the same DW as the 126x Subs.

There is some discussion that the DD isn't getting close to the 70hr power reserve they are claiming, some are saying less than 50.

Anyone that has gotten theirs have you tested the power reserve and if you have what are you getting?

If less than 50 it is not the DD3285 - why don't you send a link to the "discussion" that you referenced?

A few people mentioned it in some of the reddit threads about the DD3285, it was all mixed in with bad dial print conspiracy so I was just curious what people were getting in the real world.

Any specific threads - I have not seen any that reference DD3285 with less than 70 hour reserve - post a link so we can check it out.

Is there any news about a new batch of dials being released with revised printing? I can't unsee the curved cutout in "certified" in all of these DD3285 initial releases.

This one on particular, about 3/4 of the way down someone is claiming less than 50.

https://www.reddit.com/r/RepTime/comments/12ltcba
There was another but I can't find it. I also can't find anyone reporting on t al world power reserve.
Sorry it took so long to do my home work - I've been tied up with a few things. I looked at the thread on Reddit that states the OP "Silly-Proof-6288" bought the watch from Ctime - but that was not the person whom reported on the reserve power - it was a different user - not the OP - The other user - "SeparateAddress8165" - who made the comment - mentioned the diminished power to be less than 50 hours - We can not be sure who that person is, nor do we know if he bought from a trusted dealer - but he absolutely did not purchase from Ctime - I have PM'd Ctime to ask this question and to get feedback - his response was that the person that made that comment did not buy the rep from him - the op did - he further stipulated that the DD3285 - That he sells has a 70 hour reserve - just like the gen - I would say that any references that lead us off-site of RWI - Is not credible information - you should keep your research focused on the source - which is clearly here - there have been no reports from anyone that bought from a trusted dealer here (RWI) - that the reserve is less than stated - (hence why we have the trusted dealer network)

I hear you and was not speaking to it as fact just a rumor. With that though I still haven't found anyone that has actually reported on the power reserve. There was another user that got one from CTime and reported a short power reserve but he stated he didn't actually wind the movement and just wore it for a day and then set it down :ROFLMAO:

I have 3 on order and will happily test but it looks like it could be awhile before I get them.

There is another op on this board that has mentioned their power reserve - Clean with DD3285 movement - 72.5 hour reserve and review - also the TD - Ctime has verified the power reserve - what I still have not seen is anyone on RWI - that has stated or rumored the power reserve is not what is indicated by the TD - stop reporting false information without proof - we have trusted dealers here because they were vetted and verified by the admin staff (whom btw are very selective with granting that title).

the crystal gasket on the Batman looks much better than the Pepsi, doesn’t look milky at all. Does anyone know if that’s recently been changed? All other pictures I’ve seen had a milky gasket

I have received my quality control and in the video of the test I see that it has an error of 6s per day, I think that it should not be like that as it is a high quality movement DANG DONG

Dude
That's the best you'll get and is spot on. Amplitude looks good as well. The movement will likely stabilise over time and get slightly better. These movements are also easily regulated if you want better accuracy. Dont be unrealistic, if youre searching for COSC / METAS +- 1sec...... put your name down on the R factory waiting list and wait for your nearest AD to call you..........

This is a new movement, what average are you referring to ? average against other exact same movements ?
As an example, your timegrapher shows a better reading than a $800.00 seiko or a $1000 citizen watch. Id GL it and enjoy.
