CLEAN Factory 124060 No Date Submariner New Release

Was the milky ring around the crystal edge (now fixed) the only problem with the CF crystal? Is it missing the AR coating under the crystal, not as clear or something else? Several posts about inferior crystals but the milky ring is all I found specifically stated anywhere.

Has anyone posted the results of a power reserve test for the VR3230 in this particular watch yet? I couldn't find one.

I just got mine clean 124060. Funny the serial kick off with 6R. Clasp code is indeed F80 as well. So far I saw all senior is with the serial of XN ? 6R ? Is 6R is older batch or ??

Now that the watch is in its 3rd year of production - was there any improvement to the crystal?
I am a bit OCD when it comes to milky crystals. As examples, the one on my CF 126500 is absolutely fine, while my VSF Spectre sometimes drives me crazy (I do realize that the gen crystal is also rather poor for Omega-standards, though).
So has 124060 caught up with what CF puts kn the 126500? Or is it still worse than on the VSF?
At my preferred TD, the Clean is like 80 USD cheaper than the VSF, and I am not sure I want to spend that just for the crystal and movement (and bracelet seems to better on Clean).

Clean 124060 I received today vs VSF 114060. In the hand, I honestly can't see any difference in the crystals.

The clasp is a bit loose on the Clean (opens too easily), but the glide lock is perfect. Better than the VSF by a fraction.

Crown and tube is a little rough, but winding is so quiet I didn't think it was winding at first. The rotor is quiet, too.

As we know, the bezel is a bit springy and it's significantly looser than any of my VSF Subs and gen.

All in all, though, I'm a fan of this watch and it'll get a lot of wear.

I love the Clean. I love both of them, but the Clean is my go-to Sub.

Both are bloody good reps and lightyears ahead of where we were 3-4 years ago.

I do see now that the Clean crystal is clearly not as clear as VSF when viewed at some angles in some light.
I think the Clean CGs are more accurate than the VSF.

The fit and feel is mostly the same, with the exception of the bezel action; the looseness of the Clean bezel is annoying. And it's a simple fix, so I have no idea why they don't make that improvement.

From all the VSF and Clean reps I have held, VSF appear to pay more attention to things like crown-tube threading and bracelet cleanliness. VSF have all been smoother and silent, whereas all Clean reps have been a bit gritty and squeaky. Again, easy things for us to improve with a simple clean (no pun indented), but I think CF is a little complacent in this area.

I saw that the VSF no dates now have the VS3230 movement so I went ahead and ordered the 124060! My concern was with the crystal like what you observed, although I've also seen people changing their crystals to deep. I might pick up a Clean as well in the 114 model and do a crystal swap.

Just wanted to say that your watch looks really well kept as well especially as daily driver, not many scratches or nicks - I always manage to bang my arms around..

Both are great reps. None have everything spot on. That's the game we choose to play.

Yeah, I walk everywhere mindful of where my left hand is. I've busted my nose a handful or times but my watches are in good shape.
