Take a pic and tilt the dial I want to see if the dial looks black.if it never gets the black look it's not great.the green looks nice .the markers are nice and the print and layout font is nice.now if the dial gets that black look in low light we have an amazing hulk dial.looking at the pics in the op the gen vs the clean.the only real flaw was the sunburst is a bit brighter. The date cut out is minor

Bezel way too dark. Not green enough. Not even close.

I am sure it's the same CF bezel we have all already seen. Unfortunately I am tired of waiting for someone to nail the Hulk green so I am just gonna buy this one in the event I ever spring the dough for the gen bezel assembly =)

Keep in mind that is that same blinding studio/fluorescent bulb in the photos. When I get it I will show it off in the daylight to see how it shows up =)

smoke this is it straight up and down yesterday. It gets dark but there's still a little green. Where it's not in a case, It seems like it can still play some tricks. I don't know if the black effect needs a little shade from the bezel.

I swear this Shimmer and sunburst look just like the BP as best I can tell. It even reflects like the same way. A BP dial with improved markers.

At the end of the day it's not really the numeral component that bothers most people it's the tint/tone of the green in the bezel when comparing it to gen. I am just going to adjust my computer monitor RGB values until it looks gen and call it a day :idontno:

Ah, yes, that was the thread that I've been trying to find again! (I seriously don't know how you guys find anything using the search engine..)

I remember that from the photos, surprisingly ARF seems to have the closest insert.

Buy gen if you can find it. I did and couldn’t be happier.

Local AD said my number should be up soon for a gen hulk. I’ll let you know when it does, in case you want my franken w/ gen bezel/insert.

I will definitely let you know after I get this ZZF one - gonna stick the toe in on the hulk. I may hate it because I am so prone to the traditional styles but...I may love it...

Either way I feel better about going in for around $500 to find out before making the bigger leap haha =)

Thats what I like about the build. You can put a few grand into a watch without even realizing it because you do it a few hundred at a time.


And Duc fingers crossed for you but my local ad has been telling me that for a long time now too. And everyone else I know.

The great thing about the BP dial is its ability to be black and green at the same time. I ordered a ZZF too but these pics are disappointing. It doesn't look like it can go black and keep the green flare. Hope I'm wrong.
