the fake stones doesn't shine nevertheless quite ,near, seems like, the gen

Yeah, you're probably / sadly right about this ;{

Well, then ... thank god, I never saw the true "shinyness" of the gen full bling rainbow Daytona ... so that if an ambitious rep company like CF or BTF decides to make it nonetheless, I could maybe still be amazed by an overall decent replica with some fancy Swarovskis, positioned in the right lighning, haha ;P

I think the dial bother me the most, it doesn't have the right sunbursts and the blue is off. The bezel is an easy fix, just buy a gen WG bezel. If the WG colour difference annoys you with the case, get the watch WG plated.

i am not sure if that white gold plating is a good idea, given that the white gold case has shorter lugs and the SELs are not
recessed, but actually longer than the lugs. basically an immediate tell.

Agree.. Is a tell in general if you know about the SEL. But at least visually it doesn't bother you the visual metal finishing. More issues with the case if you wanna dig deeper, along with pushers and crown.

Thank for sending me down the case profile / lug length / pusher ring rabbit hole...

For reference on pusher rings (PRs?), SELs, and case profiles. Yellow Gold: Two rings on pushers, SELs extend past lugs, extremely dished crown-guard to lug profile.

Platinum: Three rings on pushers, SELs extend slightly past lugs, extremely THICC crown-guard to lug profile.

Rose Gold: One ring on pushers, SELs extend well past lugs, medium thickness crown-guard to lug profile.

Steel: Two rings on pushers, SELs do NOT extend past lugs, extremely dished crown-guard to lug profile (similar to Yellow Gold).

Steel and Gold: Two rings on pushers, SELs do NOT extend past lugs, extremely dished crown-guard to lug profile (similar to Steel and pure Yellow Gold).

White Gold: One ring on pushers, SELs extend well past lugs, medium thickness crown-guard to lug profile (similar to Rose Gold).

The crown guards of my CLEAN are way off.
Hope they will address this...

Does anyone know how to determine the size of the oyster flex rubber straps, i.e. whether E-E or E-F , for example ?? I ask because the say F-F for a 18-19 cm Wrist, but if you add the watch case with 42mm and the clasp with 35 mm, you still have 103mm left. But F-F are already 140 mm !! , how does that work ?? Thanks a lot

Nearer than you think
Why chinese factories keep releasing junk like the Tiffany 5712 (lol) instead of these models trully puzzles me.
Maybe demand is not as high.

That's because the average density of tacky Chinese customers is incredibly high.

The classic "steel" or "elegant" watch is not trendy there, while golden and blingy shit is, and since they mostly sell there, they take that demand sample as a point of reference for their production.

That's kinda annoying yeah

This. All the nonsense Rolex have been up to with the 2T Sea Dweller and Explorer is for China - they like that stuff because it ‘looks rich’.
