In my opinion the movement and case alone are worth the price of the watch.

This is either damage either light reflection,im 99% sure this isnt gap and no new modern rolexes have gap like this

No damage. Brand new watch on a review site. There is some light reflection making it look worse than it actually is, but that is what is going on with the QCs as well.

That's my point.

Digital and cell phone cameras have algos that play with the light and subsequently the images.

That being said here is another photo of the same watch.

I am not a big fan of the gap and radius mismatch between the SEL and the case. Especially at $14,000, much less the $31,000 they are commanding used.

Don't be so shocked. It was an actual honest review. Most are not and would not show the full high res images. At the lower res you can't see the flaws.

Manufacturing machining and finishing is tough. I know I do it for a living. No person is perfect. No process is perfect. The GENs have faults too. Who will willingly show the flaws when they just spent $14,000 on one. As difficult as they are to get at retail they would feel lucky to even get a flawed one.

The Noobs were good. The cleans seem better. Get them while you can if you can. For $760 they are a steal in my opinion.

White gold. It's why the rep dials never look right. (apart from the various size and geometry flaws.)

Get the gen dials while you can. Swatch group killed the service parts sales. Hell they even got rid of authorized dealerships. I don't think Rolex will be far behind.

What happened with Swatch group? How can they cut out the ADs, where would you buy from?

I would assume too many people putting gen dials hands and crystals on rep watches and not buying a GEN. Go to Otto Frei and read their plea to swatch group. It's done.

My local jeweler where I bought my GEN Seamaster is no longer an AD for Omega. You have to get them from an Omega boutique now.

I have the panda in hand… one of the SELs (the bottom one) is completely solid and can’t be wiggled. The other one does have a little play in it. The play is rotational around the spring pin. Like the SEL can nod a bit. It’s not the slightest big noticeable unless you try to wiggle the SEL.

for comparison, my noob v4 black dial has zero play in the bottom SEL, and about half as much play as the Clean Panda in the top SEL.

Can you post the video? I only see an image.

If they are using an ARF bracelet and hand finishing it to fit there will likely be variations. It only takes a few thousandths extra clearance to get slop and a potential wobble. With the gaps I saw on my QC I find it hard to imagine it will wobble but you never know.

I have two incoming. We will see if either are loose.

Look at the SELs on this GEN. Would you guys reject?

Some review sites poach pics from god knows where. SELS aren’t great on this sample, crown guards look uneven and the marker @9 looks a bit crooked.

This watch was made on a Friday arvo just near knockoff time lol

The sels and the lugs are off on every rep case.. on the newest 116500 gen case the SELs are very tight like they’re are solderes on the case and lugs have a straight surface finish not rounded. That’s where you should look to tell if it is rep.. not the dial or missalignements, that’s nonsense.
