1.
I’m interested to see what the watchmakers will say after they strip down the 4130 Movement which is in a CF and see if it is really the same like the one in the Noobs…

2.
one more thing to notice: SEL of the ARF Bracelet is smaller than Noob. That’s why you have a little play when you install the whole ARF Bracelet on a Noob. Now, the CF comes with the ARF Bracelet. If that fits perfectly it would mean the Lugs are different on the Cf compared to the Noob lugs

Hey guys, I got my QC today from Andrew. What a lovely watch :)

Very impressive sample, congratulations! Robi01 good on you for holding out, that sample wasn't good enough - the hating on people rejecting pieces is perfectly understandable on low cost pieces but these watches are costing more than decent microbrands or even fairly established upper low-end gens from brands like Tissot, Longines and bordering on Sinn or Nomos. You wouldn't accept that in a shop buying one of those brands, so why would it be acceptable in rep world? Especially something that can't be fixed.

I get it with stuff like bezels - provided it can be adjusted and thus aligned, if you're modding anyway then it's a minor inconvenience although some clean bezels from one batch wouldn't line up at all so it's a noteworthy point.

The sel however is crucial, because modding it to get it right, even if it is possible, can cost a lot of time or money. As someone who spent an entire weekend reworking a noob case by hand, I wouldn't want to invest nearly $800 in a newer model to then have a case that feels like a backwards step.

Yes bro. you must be happy with your watch, you cannot accept it with defects that are important to you. Maybe another member will accept it because they won't be important to him...

Debated or not if buying this watch, as I have a Noob V4 with CF V2 bezel. Or buy just the dial and the midcase?

I’m thinking the same I have the dial gen hands already. I can get the mid case and call it a day. Would anyone know if gen p502 pushers fit this case ?

Who do you buy from? Have you ever been able to buy just a mid case?

I ordered the 116520 white dial. In my opinion it is impossible to replicate (and in fact it never worked) the silver/non-shine/ champagne coloured subdials.
i Call out any BD Daytona within a second based on that…

Doesn't the white dial 116520 also have silver subdials?

It looks like we just need to sand the REP bracelet a bit to have the larger gaps as per the GEN. ;)

White gold. It's why the rep dials never look right. (apart from the various size and geometry flaws.)

Get the gen dials while you can. Swatch group killed the service parts sales. Hell they even got rid of authorized dealerships. I don't think Rolex will be far behind.
