Coronet on dial looks strange. Also the "A" in Daytona looks like it has serifs. This is 116520 style, not 116500.

Mark1937 Thanks for reposting. Indeed this is the more reliable source with have for CF dial right now. Markers and coronet from Li pictures look different compared to the gen vs alleged CF dial posted above.

We see two different possible CF dials. please look at the short lines on the right sub dial. On the Gen the small lines don't touch the inner edge. So i think that the dial on post #317 is Gen and on all pics which show in post #323 these lines are touching the inner edge of the sub dial.

On post #326 (pictures from Jtime) those lines look like Gen again... so very confusing for now...

pre-ordering in a poke is part of the beauty of this hobby. I thank those who pre-order and post the QC images for those who, like me, have decided to wait this time.

I've already 'pre-ordered' a CF Panda from jtime. I've asked roughly when it'll be out and he said the end of this week (Week ending19th).

Regarding pre-ordering without seeing it. Personally I was impressed by the markers, they look gen for the first time I've seen on any rep dial. Now that there's images of gen being spread around and is being sold as Clean, now I'm not so sure. So personally I'm just going to ignore them until I get the QC pics.

However, the thing I am sure is that people over-exaggerate when it comes to 'losing money'. If it's nothing like what I expected, I'm RL'ing it and getting my money back or a different watch. At worst, I keep it and sell it for nigh-on the price I bought it. That's the market right now. People are still paying full TD inflated prices for the missing serial 116519LN / Diw Noob hybrids because they don't OCD about things like lines being slightly too short on a sub-dial.

Completely agree, the downside isn’t the end of the world. I got fed up with waiting for “the best” Daytona to come back in the market and settled for two ARF 4130 (faux chrono) ordered in October, hopefully here this week…. If I hadn’t I’d have done exactly the same. I hope they are magnificent when you finally get to see they. The shipping wait will be agony. Enjoy
