Like many of the QC’s I’ve seen posted, my dial is slightly off centre on my 116500 white dial. Now I’ve seen it, it’s quite annoying. Is it a fairly simple job for me to loosen the movement screws to try and realign or should I not attempt?

I still can't see the slightly off center dial flaw, could you kindly show me with a picture? Thank you :)

Page 154 has a good example of it. Look at how close the minute track/chapter ring is to the rehaut/dial opening on the right compared to on the left, the whole dial seems to be shifted to the right, towards the crown.

Nearer than you think
If I see man in his 50s or 60s, neatly dressed, won't make me think that the watch is most definitely a rep.

Totally agree about this point, the car example is just, in fact, an example, it's all about the part you want to play.

If your watch is a rep then your background should match your watch if you want to make it seem believable by the people that know about you.

I am having issues with mine. The crown is soo difficult to unscrew, requires using nails in the grooves to slowly unscrew it. Whilst the watch works fine, I cannot screw the crown back in, almost makes a grinding like sound, as if it is catching something and not threading in properly. Any ideas on what this could be down to? Feel like it will pack up sooner or later at this rate, currently crown is unscrewed as it is impossible to screw in again.

Sounds like the crown may have gotten cross threaded with the crown tube...or the thread on the crown and/or crown tube are defective. This gives you a good excuse to get a gen crown (or better rep crown) and replace the cosmetically crap stock CF crown that is there currently. If the crown tube thread is damaged, you will need to replace that as well.

I have the same problem. Here is my second qc that I rejected because of the numbers on the left subdial (number 6):

once you receive the watch youll notice the 6 on the left subdial is so tiny, you can barely see with the naked eye...
