If it is with the DD4131 movement, then an amplitude of 260 is in the common range. For a SH4131 it would be a bit low. That said, without knowing the settings with which the measurement was made, and whether the movement was fully wound, the amplitude is just a a very rough indication.
You are ordering from Steve, so ask him whatever you want to know. He is a very reliable and trustworthy dealer.
I would say that this is a watch from a recent batch.
Many thanks @chrisat When the Clean Daytona comes with the 4131 movement, does it always feature the updated dial with thicker subdials, or is it possible that the latest 4131 version still comes with both dial types?

The DD4131 is available since February, while the subdials have been updated sometimes last year already.
There is a chance that some dealers still have older stock with the SH4131 movement, but large volume dealers like Steve will not have stock that is so old that it comes with the first version of the subdials.
The watch looks like mine, which is from a recent DD4131 batch. On the first version from a year ago, the outer rings of the subdials looked a bit different as far as I remember.

Many thanks for your clear answer, the only thing that disturbs me is this sort of ramp, which is apriori typical of early dials, isn't it? it's clearly visbile on mine but not on other posted pictures. It's clearly visible on mine, but not on the photos posted a few posts before, which are supposed to describe the new version.

CF = Clean Factory
Yes, sorry about that :rolleyes: — rookie mistake. I think there might be a confusion here , because in the post above, it's about a new version of CF that brings improvements to the sub-dials. Ernien's message seems to be comparing the two versions of CF, unless I misunderstood?" don't hesitate to enlighten me (y)

Yes, it’s comparing the original released version and the newer updated version that was released this January.

You are correct, ask for new one because there are many new ones with flat surface inside the subdials which is more genlike

There is obvious difference as i said, the left one is much better and closer to gen, flat surface
