I noticed the thing that clean does not do right is the serial number placement, for me, a showstopper. It's too bad because clean does a great job otherwise. I have a VSF sub and the placement is perfect, just like authentic rolex.

Cant say which is better
I have vsf with clean crown so i fixed main issue on vsf…

I can tell that crystal and pushers are better on vsf, pushers lenght is closer to gen on vsf and crystal is genlike in my opinion

I think you just convinced me to go VSF but switch to a clean crown. Thank you, brother.

How's the VSF movement and the winding?

Great, winding is better on the vsf movement, smooth clicky feel and rotor is way quieter
Cant tell that movement will last longer than cleans because clean movement is veeery stable, there are few of them reported that have issues with movement but most of them works perfect (i talking about sh4131)

Only thing that iritated me on clean winding was very sandy - squeeky , grinding feel like it makes sand from grinding, so i didnt used crown winding too much… this was not the case with dd4131

Now I’ve heard it all LOL. SN spacing, wow. SN font or spacing is the last of my concerns as the prefixes or end digits equal rep. I mean talk about an instant tell. You don’t need to look up a SN on a Rolex database to know OXJ, Q66, Y2L3, 6V6 and the rest are not only rep cases, but also identify the factory 😂

By the way, the reason i suspect they do this is so you can't pass it off as gen to anyone who knows what they're looking at. It's also a reason why they've never truly randomized serial numbers either.

99.9999% of gen pop and even majority of watch people wouldn't be able to notice this detail, but dealers and loupe inspection would reveal it.
