Looks decent this!
£3795 is wildly steep mind!

Nice to be different for sure. But like you say, this price brings some big dogs into the mix for sureInteresting stretch piece for CW. Not in their usual wheelhouse to be sure (a real step up from the C1). But the price is a bit sharp I agree. I would pick up something Zenith or Longines instead.
Still, a really interesting piece.
Totally diff watch for diff buyer though, but you are in gray market Zenith Defy territory for this and youd have to be loco not to choose that first.PS: In-house caliber or not, add a few hundred €'s, and you're already in Omega Seamaster territory. Some mid-tier watch companies have been dramatically overestimating the value of their brand lately... And wonder why their 5k watches aren't selling.

Agree. Half the price I'll buy one. At 5k you're competing against ALOT of good watches. The 3-5k segment is some of the most competitive bracket for watches in general.
I mean. This or a used GS Spring Drive or a Moonwatch? Most horological nerds would pick GS or Omega
I can list out over 15 watches below 5k that I would rather take.... haha@Reaps triggered an expulsion of my insane GS adulation. Sorry 'bout the rant.![]()

Honestly, in this territory I would pick up a 2531.80, a dynamic chronograph, a seiko persage cocktail and still have room for a solid night out and a 20 year old bottle of scotch.
I bought a MAD 1 I won in the raffle, spent around $3,300, wore it three times and it sits in the box. It's a gimmicky watch from a brand without much traditional brand value etc.
You can pick up M.A.D. Editions are basically a mass market sub-brand of MB&F, starting at 3k€ used or, with luck, 3,5k€ new, including the new M.A.D. 2. For me, they are in the same category as this one. The Loco is probably more comparable to the M.A.D. 2 with regard to how wearable this is.
That said - I would rather take an M.A.D. 2 for 3,5k€ than this one for 5k€ - both are not “flex pieces” but more nerd pieces.
