Glad to report adding a gen click spring (only) nicely improved the bezel action on my CF pepsi (part # 316-116750-2-C5). There's still a tiny bit of horizontal play, but it's not that bad and the bezel now firmly and audibly clicks from point to point (see video below). For those not wanting to spend any money, removing all the excess grease that the bezel comes caked with OOTB helped mine tremendously as well. I'd say simply removing the excess grease improved the bezel from ~3 /10 to ~6/10 (actually started to click into place, but was rough and you could not hear the clicks). Adding the gen click spring brought the bezel up to ~8/10 (I'm deducting 1 point for slight horizontal play and 1 point for it still feeling a tad rough). No doubt adding the gen crystal retaining ring would make it near perfect, but that is a very expensive part and not really worth it IMO (at least not in my case).

Look on Ali Express or DHGATE for an RG Glidelock
They are available, just saw these. Alternately you could have an SS one plated for not that much, especially if you are talking about a TT.

These will have the Rolex logo, it's just not shown in ad pics

I put a glidelock on my 214270 and have loved it; curious if you have done the same.

No I didn't see the need on that one bro. But I do have one on my TC 16610. Actually that whole bracelet is a Ginault, which really puts the TC bracelet to shame. TC bracelets are really no better than BP, JF or Yuki IMO. Sometimes worse, some had SEL issues where they are too wide or too recessed.

Got my QC, and I think the watch itself looks good but I'm worried about the amplitude. Would you guys RL for this?

I would not RL for this. These movements are very stable. It's most likely been over wound to the point of the spring slipping along the inside barrel wall, as is designed. Normal use with autowind won't put it in this state, and amplitude decreases as the mainspring unwinds.

That dial is not blue if that is what you thought. In that much direct sun even the rather dark GMT blue dial looks like this.

A blue dial Pepsi 116719 or 126719 on Jubliee would be a fantasy watch as they only ever came in WG on oyster. I like the idea though so I might make one.

Here's another nice looker, though sadly the dial is black too. The blue is a crystal reflection from my blue shirt in a chance combination of lighting and angle. I didn't even notice it til after shooting a series of pics. It's my gen with a rep insert and clasp.

Does the latest batch of Cleans still have a jacked up bezel? Is the best fix to pop it off and clean out the grease?

The latest CF Pepsi bezel is different from V1. It has a lip (though it can still benefit from being made a little wider), and the bezel itself is a tad shorter in height. The crystal is also slimmer, which has a lot to do with why installing a gen crystal results in the crystal sticking up above the bezel.

V1
Bezel 2.95mm high
Crystal 1.70mm thick

V2
Bezel 2.85mm high
Crystal 1.60mm thick

Gen GMT crystals can be 1.80mm or 1.85mm
Gen Sub crystal is 2.0mm thick

Either GMT or Sub gen crystal can be fitted, there is just a different edge profile and they are often mix and matched. But on this rep the thicker Sub gen crystal is really going to protrude a lot.

The V2 bezel still contains a half a tube of grease.

Sorry yeah, I didn't mean the lip, i meant the rotating action. But good to know on the gen xtal swap. Although unless the bezel acts well I don't know that I'd bother with the xtal

KJ2020, aside from the bezel height and crystal thickness, are the bezel components and construction the same on the V1 and V2? I thought I had read many posts back CF did a redesign on the V2 bezel construction to make it gen-like...and therefore the V1 was not gen-like construction. Is that correct?
