Yeah but you're the wrong demographic. Most of us do this...we buy a version, keep it till the next comes out with a minimal loss... most of my watches like that I lose around $50 and to me that's well worth it, all hobbies have costs this is no different.

However, there is a certain demographic here that are posers, instagram flexers and school yard show off... for these users these flaws are diabolical, they might get called out. This is the difference and looking at Diamonds language I think we can safely assume he is certainly in the latter of users...

completely agree man, if you wanna buy a rep for showing it to Upgrade your status you are brainless and you MUST called out by everyone ….this is my way of thinking.

i m here because i love watches….but i couldn t afford the majority of them….i own some gen but not the much expensive.

people like above don t love watches but the idea that the watch make of them …..poor men…..

I just answered that question and I've contributed more in this thread than you have.

I've noted the flaws on the Clean Pepsi travesty so that smart buyers will stay away from that mess. All you've done is attack anyone who mentions the flaws cause you're one of the suckers that made the mistake of buying that terrible rep that has an insert held in place by double sided tape!

Clean pulled a number on you and many other people with that Pepsi. The wrong bezel case, bezel being loaded with lubricant and not working properly, and the insert being held in place by double sided tape are enough FACTS that should prevent people from purchasing that mess. You shouldn't jump on everyone that makes their complaint heard. No need for you to take it personal. Just consider your $500 mistake a lesson learned.

No offence mate but your chatting a load of waffles now. Let me set this straight I had both a VRF max and a CF and I can tell you I easily preferred the CF.

Everything about it was better. The bezel on the VRF would just about turn so before u talk about the CF having a stiff bezel get your facts straight about the VRF. Also the bracelet and clasp was nowhere near as good as CF. Also the ceramic on the VRF had nothing on the CF. The VRF insert was more pinky and not as nice as the CF. The CF had beautiful platinum coated numbers and no speed bumps. VRF was very dull didn't look as sexy as the CF. Whoever is reading these posts don't listen to this guy. Before I ordered I was very skeptical and kind of anti CF (check the earlier pages). So I decided to order both the CF and VRF max. The CF easily won. It's a way more beautiful looking watch. Has better finer details. The CF does have double sided tape for the insert that can easily be removed for proper glue. Which I did when I did the lip mod. Thers nothing the VRF max got that's better than the CF. I know I had both. The best looking GMT pepsi was the Noob hands down. But that has a terrible time bomb movement which is not worth the risk. Number 2 in looks is the CF which also comes in at number 1 for best all round GMT pepsi. So the best GMT in my honest opinion is the CF. Your not getting anything better then that just yet.

Btw most people are selling ther CF's which I did too. But I've only did that to order the new updated version with the longer minute hand and lip. Which I'm guessing why everyone else is selling thers. But I don't think they want to advertise that ther selling it for a updated one. Then no one will buy it lmaoooo

How long has it been taking you lot to get your Pepsi's shipped? Ordered a GMT from Jtime, been a week now since I GL'd the QC and not received any tracking info yet.

Another thing for the guy saying the VRF Max is "much older" than the CF, here is VRF's latest offering recently listed on intime with an advertised clean factory bezel (take that bezel info with a grain of salt)

Still horrible transitions and finishing, for the whopping price of $508.

This insert can't be CF then unless CF is only releasing those crappy inserts to outsiders and keep the good ones for their own in-house usage

It seems that the expression "CF insert" is a tool now to increase the price. Who could prove that it is not an actual insert made by CF? Probably no one.

...and then CF came out with its pepsi and an insert which is (almost) up to their reputation. ouch

Removing the press fitted GMT insert is a big no as it needs a speciized tool to do it (at least Rolex does). You are more likely to crack it up in the process of prying.

I did this many times with no mistakes made. remember to use a 0.6mm screwer and insert it into 11 o'clock position. Easy stuff.

Had a look in my box today and there are 2 spare links removed so the gen Pepsi has a total of 17 links not including the SEL's or Easylink.

You mean by pushing the screwdriver into the opening from the bottom at the 11 O'clock position and pry the insert off?
The risk of cracking the ceramic insert from prying is pretty high actually. You either have very goodlucks or have expertise techniques.

Received my Pepsi a few days ago, overall experience with the watch is good.. The wind is butter smooth, compared to my Noob v11 Batman which has the 3186 movement also.

Rotation of the Bezel isn’t the best, it has a cringe sort of play but it’s no big deal for me.. The seller was kind enough to do the bezel mod free of charge, so extremely happy with that.. i know the hour hand is slightly short but i am considering the gen option to replace.

Im also considering to swap the crystal for a vsf crystal, if I’m unable to source a gen one..

Overall the watch looks good, feels good and I’m happy with it.

Peace out
