Mine does not click at all. And I wouldnt recommend turning it too much, feels kinda weird when I do it.

Yes totally agree I am so glad I sold my CF GMT and will never buy CF again it is the worst factory

Clean/ZZF as a full rep maker has always been a joke and always with some scandals.
ZZF fucked everyone with their 904L claims and now they're fucking everyone under the Clean brand. Their GMT Pepsi in the wrong case, fat lugs, no bezel lip, bezel that is glopping with lubricant, bezel that does't properly rotate, and a wrongly colored insert held in place with double sided tape!! And since people were stupid enough to buy that travesty, Clean is pushing anything they can because they know the idiots don't have the patience to wait till something better comes along. As the old saying goes: There's a sucker born every minute."

What how many other reps Clean will rush out now that they know some people will buy almost anything and because there's currently a void with VSF and Noob on hiatus. I wouldn't be surprised if Clean pushes out an entire new line of DateJusts, Yachtmasters, Explorers, Oyster Perpetuals, and Milgauss. All with fucked up issues.

And what is, in your opinion of course, the best GMT replica available at this point in time? Just curious...

CF Pepsi is the best imo out of all of them. I've had them all. CF is still flawed and a very VERY dodgy company/factory and lets not even begin to talk about bezel construction. But the next nearest one was Noob in my opinion, but that suffered from the timebomb movement + brown bezel, more so than CF. So meh.

Personally, hope there is a 2nd revision of the CF a full version 2 with better bezel colour (more cherry red) and better overall. But we'll see. CF is certainly good enough for right now and lets just hope some other factories get on the scene.

I am curious if the CF GMT inserts are now exclusive for their in-house consumption only.
If not, VRF or ROF can simply use the CF inserts to come up with a very nice GMT as both also incorporated the reliable VR movements.

Don’t hold your breath for anything constructive from him as he hasn’t yet added anything of note to this forum!

I just answered that question and I've contributed more in this thread than you have.

I've noted the flaws on the Clean Pepsi travesty so that smart buyers will stay away from that mess. All you've done is attack anyone who mentions the flaws cause you're one of the suckers that made the mistake of buying that terrible rep that has an insert held in place by double sided tape!

Clean pulled a number on you and many other people with that Pepsi. The wrong bezel case, bezel being loaded with lubricant and not working properly, and the insert being held in place by double sided tape are enough FACTS that should prevent people from purchasing that mess. You shouldn't jump on everyone that makes their complaint heard. No need for you to take it personal. Just consider your $500 mistake a lesson learned.

"$500 mistake" is a bit of an exaggeration, having owned them both I can confidently say the finishing on the VRF didn't even come close to my CF, poor rehaut finishing, insert transitions and an arguably worse crystal, although both aren't great to begin with.

All noted facts, but the VRF Pepsi Max is also much older than Clean's Pepsi.

I have the GMF V3 Pepsi and I know it's far from perfect, but it's a 3 year old rep. I don't take it personal when people mention the flaws, because a lot has changed in 3 years. I would have purchased the Noob Pepsi, but I'm a fan of the Mk1 colors and I also took the advice of other members pointing out that Noob's Pepsi was using the movement that has timebomb trouble issues.

Pointing out aspects and flaws to help each other make an educated decision is what this site is for. I'm grateful for all the help and information I've learned over the years as a lurker and as a member. Thanks for your input.

diamonds I am grateful for members like you that are not afraid to speak up and highlight the flaws so we can all make informed decisions. This release leaves A LOT to be desired. Yet, some continue to defend it as if their lives depended on it LOL

PS Funny how I see quite a few regularly pop up the FS section these days...

They also seem to sell quite quickly however, but yeah a do ton to show up. I'm getting my first one next week so I'll see how the quality is then. This is my first rep so I'm still excited.

You're 100% correct.
I've noticed how certain members have taken that $500 loss personal and I've also noted how many are being offered for sale. No one wants a watch that has bezel issues nor do they want a rep with a taped on insert. Clean is trying to "clean" up house with subpar reps while VSF and Noob are laying low, and people are jumping on almost every junky release being offered. Clean knows this, but patience is key in all aspects of life. VSF and Noob will be back in full force. Possibly under a new branding name.

Really, what a muppet you are! I was the one who highlighted how it was built up in the first place. The only people I’ve made comment against are the photo warriors like you and a couple of others who think they are experts just looking at pics and passing judgement without ever handling the watch and probably haven’t even seen or handled a real one either!
I’m fully aware of its flaws and wear it for what it is and nothing more than that and have always said that.
All reps have flaws and always will and it’s up to the individual to choose his poison from the array of choice we have. And if you think for one second I’m bothered about dropping $500 on it then you are sadly mistaken pal. I don’t take it personally but I suggest you keep your derogatory comments to yourself in future and leave people to their choices whether good or bad!

I do appreciate members to point out flaws, for everyone to make an informed decision.
What I do not appreciate is a member to call others “suckers, stupid and idiots “ for buying a toy watch with certain flaws!

I for one bought it with the knowledge of all the flaws listed in this huge post. And I am pretty sure that I am not the only one here. Thank you and everyone who pointed them out.

A shitty rep like this, just say, five years ago would have been THE REP of the decade. And like I said before, it is a TOY WATCH!

To spend 500 bux on it and then sell it again with some loss, either when a better version comes or whatever reason, is what these toy watches are for.
I’m not taking anything you have said personal, but I do think that you should see this rep game for what it is, to have fun with toy watches!

Yeah but you're the wrong demographic. Most of us do this...we buy a version, keep it till the next comes out with a minimal loss... most of my watches like that I lose around $50 and to me that's well worth it, all hobbies have costs this is no different.

However, there is a certain demographic here that are posers, instagram flexers and school yard show off... for these users these flaws are diabolical, they might get called out. This is the difference and looking at Diamonds language I think we can safely assume he is certainly in the latter of users...
