You can ask them if they can obtain the latest batch. Chances are you will be good to go since the Pepsi has been selling like hotcakes.
the only real way to tell is to place your order and check out the QC photos.
With lighting/color differences being so dynamic with the bezel insert, what are you using to determine which batch it is?
I have a v1, I think there is an noticeable difference and improvement on the lip on the “v2” but I think a lot of it comes down to lighting / angles. Take this pic for example (keep in mind gen xtal and DW installed) but in certain lighting you do see a tiny lip on v1. Not as good as some others have done in modding but it’s so hard to tell from QC pics IMO
Mostly an uneducated guess! Given the time between me placing the order and asking to see a previous QC pic, and ordering based on what matched all other examples I’d seen I guess that’s what’s been called v1, and then when I received my actual QC pics with what I would say are 2 notable differences (in what is the same angle and can assume the same indoor lighting conditions).
I will post better pics once I have received the watch and will be able to send any angles people wish to see etc and indoor/outdoor lighting conditions.

Lip on gen ain’t so thick on this one Seems to be different gen batches. Not that I care
Gen Batman vs gen Pepsi. Lip is basically the same. Pretty sure someone above insisted that batman has a different lip. I have both on hand

You have both in hand but can’t see the profile difference of the lip from Pepsi to standard gmt! It is very clear in the pics they are different. Very surprising indeed.

Maybe but I ain’t in the business of zooming in on gen pics. In real life I can’t see an appreciable difference between the two. Maybe if I look really really hard after someone has pointed it out but I don’t know it just looks like ones been polished and the other not.
The absolute deal breaker for me is the CF crystal. It’s absolutely junk. Which is a shame because I really like the CF 116613LB crystal.
The CG lugs/CGs etc might as well be gen as far as I can see irl. Again only an issue if your inspecting zoomed in pics. Just my opinion tho

Seems like Clark’s crystal and gen date wheel are needed here. What is reference for the Clark’s gmt crystal?
