Thank you for the guide. However , is there a need to remove the movement?

i usually just take out the bezel, and install the new crystal.

There is no need to remove the movement on a clean Daytona, but I suppose removing it is the proper way, plus he ultrasonic the case.

You can use the Bergeron claw tool to grip the crystal and pull it off it doesn’t come off with the bezel (the stainless the bezel came off without the crystal).

From there you just mount and press new crystal, good to go.

I don't know where I went wrong, but I broke the bezel under the press. what made me think was that I couldn't fix the bezel with my hands. Is it possible that I put the glass seal on backwards? I would like some guidance so I don't make the same mistake again

Maybe I applied too much pressure with the press? the only thing I noticed before pressing was that I couldn't secure it with my hands. It didn't fit even a little. for example with the DJ bezel I can block it with my hand and then press it. with daytona it was simply placed. here are the photos:

You can’t use a gen gasket on a CF bezel, it’s too thick to fit

You have to use the stock one
