No both 42 and 45 mm gen dials need a gen 8500 movement to fit directly. And if used with a rep movement you need a custom made DW overlay and modding the dial feet. And those DW overlays don't exist.

who sells genuine date wheels for the omega 8500 movement? It won't fit any eta or eta clone as its an in house movement. (Made by eta exclusively for omega) the whole swatch group story I don't want to explain in this thread.

No, you are right, it was for a 2500 caliber, my mistake.

I can confirm that the gen crown for 42mm CrPO fit the noob tube perfect also.

The gen from the old generation planet ocean crystal will fit (2500 movement PO). The gen CrPO crystal is to thick for the rep case.

Did some more research and found that a 2836 and 2824 are basically the same movement. The only difference is the 2836 has a day function and is slightly thicker. Wonder why they would use a 2836 for the PO that doesn't have a day function? Is it so it can fit the case better due to its thickness?

They used the 2836-2 for one reason, the hour, min and sec pinions are higher to make space for the day disc. In the CrPO is it a DW overlay using this space and the hand stack will be placed correct over the dial. The date change on a 2836-2 is instant and on a 2824-2 it's changing over a 0,5-1 hour period. The gen 8500 changes date like the 2824-2 but the hand stack is more like the 2836-2 as it's a thicker movement. The manual date setting is how ever complete different from any rep movement available.

Black LMPO with gloss dial.. Is a swap part. Meaning, Omega will sell you one if you send in the old "Gen" dial.

I have ceramic PO that the crown has just stripped. Any luck from anyone in finding the case number? I would like to get the tube and crown from cousins. I found a case number but it is for the ultimate, I believe. Thank you..... Sal

168.1665 is for the 42mm ceramic model.
