DO NOT glue the led to the board, as instructed in this tutorial, you may damage the contacts. The LED's in the 1200 model sit on a 90 degree angle. Just hold the led in place with tweezers in one hand and tape the contacts with iron.

It's soldered on... Basic soldering skills is all you need. I should've took pics as I was doing it. The LED's are on their side, quick tap of the iron loosened them up...
