Fantastic comparison and this time it´s not the usual submariner, nice. Excellent rep, it fades like a fotocopy next to the gen (as usual) - but without a gen next to it just in the wild, it´s simply impossible to tell for me.

Case in steel with DLC (diamind as carbon) coating.
Besel in titanium.
Strap "toile de voile" in nylon.
Another tell on the rep is that the distance between the 7 and 8 is too close.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the site (long time reader but just joined) and needed some help on a Santos 100 XL that I've purchased from Ryan at intime. He should be sending me QC images next week and I was going to post them here for advice. I'm aware of the sapphire colour being too dark and the thickness of the feet on the roman numerals from the great write ups done but just wanted some help to spot anything major that does not look right. The version I have ordered is the ultimate v6 with Asian mvmt...cost £308. Thanks

Thanks will do. I hear good things about him...and don't want to take the risk of not going with a TD just to save a few quid. I also decided to order a PAM111 v4 from him. They are supposed to be awesome reps from what I've read.
Does anyone know if the Santos 100 reviewed in this thread is water resistant? Have seen varying sources ststing that it's 50m and others saying 20m.

Will you be able to add a few more photos and comparisons on the bezel screws, dial printings such as comparing words, quality of print (rep looks glossier) and also the iconic 'Cartier' on the 'VII' marker (the wording looks sparse and less bold on rep)?

1) What is the dial size lug to lug? It looks like a 40mm to me.
