Is it really that obvious? It's not like they used a completely different font

Oh so this is why they make it different. More expensive to engrave... And number position is not correct one hundred percent.

Morning all.
I spend more time over on RG but thought you might want to have a look at the new vid out now on PT/WS.

As far as I can see, the bezel is definitely engraved (although not as deep as the gen) but the lume is not applied evenly.
The 12 triangle looks really badly done, so def check your QCs.
The brushing looks okay but some parts are better than others, especially on the RG models but the SS version should be less obvious.
The dial look okay so far but unsure whether it has the sunburst effect, which is one of the things that appealled to me but I would like to see a few QCs.
Yes, the RG versions have 'stainless steel' engraved on the buckle and CB but as I rarely take my watches off and pass to strangers to inspect, I wouldn't worry too much about that.
I like this new version a lot and am ordering the SS blue on rubber next week, so will update on RG as well but I am keen to see the TT blue version.
That was the only gen that I liked enough to consider in the future, so the SS engravings shouldn't be a problem.

I went back to my AD yesterday and spent a good time looking at the bezel.
Apart from the terrible lume paint job (particularly bad on the triangle @12), it appears that the rep is just a SS bezel with a painted coating.
The ceramic is obviously solid on the gen, which is a gorgeous deep blue and the sunburst is very special on the blue dial.
Also, the primary numbers on the DW are smaller than the secondary on the gen but the same on the rep, which of course is unlikely to bother most but I know it would me.

For me, this has counted the blue rep out for now, unless they release better quality version with solid ceramic and decent lume but the black is on my list next month, so will post up on here and RG.
