There is a version with the correct datewheel, cheaper but not as good. Stan offered me one but I went for the more expensive version.
The wrong datewheel is indeed a major issue but apart from that, it is an impressive rep. I had the Gen in my hands next to the rep and if you don't know the correct datewheel order, you can't guess it's a rep. Impossible.
I agree that it wears quite big, which was at first quite disappointing for me. I ordered the watch after seeing 42mm on puretime, and it wears bigger than some of my 44mm Breitlings.
Yes and I find the links too wide and too large, especially the last link before the end link. I can't even adjust the bracelet to my exact size. One more link and it's much too large, one less and it feels tight. Only very large links and no clasp adjustment is a shame.
For me that picture is a proof that it wears big. Not too big on your wrist a you seem to have a decent wrist size, but still quite large.
I can't wear it with a t shirt because of my small 6.7 wrist, I need to have a french cuff shirt to make it look good.
