Can the newly released XF V2 FC Diver 15706 be considered a super rep?

Tompa, I adore your new members on board in your increasing AP collection!!! YuhooOooo

I noticed the GAP in your JF is very minimal whereas the gen strap on my modded JF v7 Diver was 3mm n my eyes cant accept it. It is reigning as my Queen w/o any strap.

I put on the gen rubber on my old Noob 4.1 diver n it fit tightly.

I reckon I’m the odd ball in my JF.

New member...? What are you talking about? You trieing to reduce my opinion because you have been here longer then me or what? Forget it bro! I Just want to help and show some prof of gen strap fits on my JF cases/plots

“New members” in your collections means the newly acquired or franken watches u have in hands recently ...

Where I need to be.
As for my jf diver, gen rubber n leather doesn’t fit well n as you said, there’s this marginal GAP that’s is eye sored hahaha.

I think if I get an XF, I may need to get it modded for my gen strap.

There IS supposed to be a gap between the strap and case edges. The edges do not touch for obvious reason: flexibility of wear.
On my gens the gaps vary but you need to be aware how gens are like before talking about eyesore and such.

Lol you didn’t say anything wrong. I think it’s a matter of understanding of language that’s all.

Regarding the gaps bro, a little gap is good but 3mm is ugly. Do show us the issue and I think no matter what it is, it can be resolved.

My experience says noob accepts gen strap whereas JF dont ifnot with some extra force.. maybe things has changed.

i do have 2 gen straps on my frankens and if the gap is there it is minimal .. 3mm sounds an exxageration now i’m curious

Yes i was told that to when i first started to collect reps. But man i was dissepointed when i tried a gen strap on my noob the first time, It was realy bad looking. It Didnt fit good att al. The strap was sittning 5mm above the plots. Realy bad. But then i tried on JF’s and the fited realy good. But everyone told me they do not fit. But check the pictures again bro. Its verry good fitment. Maybe it was different back in the days. But nowdays JF plots works with gen straps.
Sorry all back to topic now

@ Tompa! No worries. Cheers

@ Legend noted the pointed perspective yo

The forum is all about perspectives and opinions. More importantly, it is about getting help where and when you need it.
Let me know if you need help with the straps fitment. Being fellow locals, what I just said goes double for locals, especially in such a small country.

this topic started a while ago, followed it from the start and it made be buy the XF v1 from trusty with the low beat movement. I'm still very happy with the diver. Not my daily beater though.

What are the thoughts at the moment, by our members who own this diver, about the quality, and other experiences after all this time. just curious :)

I don't know how is it OOTB as mine went first to Legend before I got it in hands. For me it was a surprise when I opened the box, I mean without consideration of manipulating and feeling (crown, adjustment and so on), if one is not so much focusing on the inner bezel, this watch is on par with a gen AP in term of finish and presence on the wrist. I don't know if legend did such a great job but it is an amazing watch, that amazing that the feel of the crown is even more frustrating :-(

Mine is straight OOTB and it looked amazing when I unboxed it, and still does. What I understand in your response is that the Crown operation must be done with the at most care, do I understand that ok
with all my reps the screw crowns operation must be done carefully. I owned a gen, the beast, and even with the gen the crown operation must be done carefully. Perhaps Legend can inform us about this. And I would like to know what he did to your Watch.

No reason for me too, to let her go. wearing her as we speak hahahaha.

ok let us say that I never touched a diver crown before this one, I just wore a friend's 15707 for few hours but without touching the crown, compared to a Jumbo caliber for example, this feels pretty crap :-(
but the watch is really amazing in term of finish ...

that depends if you want flexible end links and an other style of brushing style of the ceramic bezel. But you could have learned that by yourself at page 36. :innocent:
