Simple Truth: There are no guarantees in this life. Roll the dice, Take your chances....and wear a cup.

Absolutely.

If you avoided doing things that made you nervous, you'd never get laid.

I'd refund him but I wouldn't be happy. Morally and legally he has entered into a contract to buy and is obliged to do so once payment is made. In fact once he has said "I'll take it" he has entered into a contract to purchase.

Hell if the reason is different such as "My dog just got hit by a car and I have a 2k vet bill" I'm going to refund without question. Send me a copy of the bill and I'll even take a return.

Not that I've ever sold a watch from my personal collection mind you.

A buyer does not need permission from a mod to file a Paypal dispute.;

Does this mean the buyer who has "Buyers Remorse" responsible to pay for the PP fees associated with the refund?
What fees? There are no fees associated with a refund.

Is it protocol on RWI to post the email address, name, and PP address of somebody you buy a watch from when you want a refund?
Of cause it's bloody not! What a silly question.

:wyliehelp:
Really not sure why you ask these questions, you have been here for near 3 years.

Scammers can pop up anywhere.

It is better to be safe than sorry with dealing with buyers like Mr. Peapods who have "Buyers Remorse".

If someone has the intent to scam someone else...there is no way to prevent that. Real misunderstandings can happen, and that's where its up to the parties to work it out.

Anyone who has taken a couple of minutes to read a bit on this site and others knows that you don't ever open the Pandora's Box known as PP Disputes referencing replicas.

If you cant accept that, perhaps you should not sell your watches.

What happens if the buyer pays me via PP than has "Buyers Remorse" and demands a refund and I am tell them no way in HELL and ship the watch to them and they in turn file a PP dispute against me. PP shuts down my account and sends the buyer a refund. Am I shit out of luck with regard to what happens as the buyer gets my watch for free.

If someone was pulling that shit on me..

I would take a video of me wrapping up the watch, putting it into the box, and taping it up. Furthermore, I would record of me at the USPS register paying for the shipping and handing it over to the postal employee.

Let's see the dickhead file a dispute with PP. I show PP that video and that buyer is SOL. What's his dispute? "I didn't want it anymore!"

See who PP will side with after that BS.

Just don't ever sell your watch on any of these sites if you are scared. Problem solved. Never do anything in life when you have a bad gut feeling about anything or have as many questions as you do. Simple.

I have sold over 500 items on Ebay and received a positive feedback for every item I sold on Ebay. I have no fear of selling and buying on ebusiness web sites in which the seller or buyer face recourse for not honoring their commitment.

I asked the questions about the buyer Peapods2 who had massive "Buyers Remorse" with the intention on how to deal with a potential buyer like Peapods2 and to find out how RWI would handle a similar situation if it occurred here.

I don't remember the context, but I recently saw Peapods in the CB and instantly thought he was an asshat. I maintain this feeling.

He shitted on an AP RG Grand Prix thread as well. I'm sure he will chime in soon with his wisdom.
