There is no protocol for this......putting it bluntly......tough shit for the buyer.

If the buyer such as Peapods2 pays for the watch and has " Buyers Remorse" and than demands a refund; what to you tell buyers like Peapods2?

Do you send them an email or PM telling them "Tough shit!"

His actions cleary show him as not being an experienced buyer.

We've all made impulse buys, quick hey I'll take it.. then later realizing that it isn't for me. Thats life and part of being an adult.

I would contact the RWI staff before I ever file a PP dispute.

It appears to me Mr. Peapods had a massive case of buyer's remorse.

Based on what Mr. Peapods posted in his response on why he had "Buyer's Remorse"; he said he has purchased over $5,000 of rep watches the past year and it appears to me he a very experienced buyer and seller.

Mr. Peapods needs some serious intervention if that is true.

Peapods2 claims he bought $2,500 of rep watches the past 6 months. He appears to be a high roller with a big wallet who is a very experienced buyer if he can dish out $2,500 for rep watches in only 6 months.

If that happend to me I would refund him in full immediately. It simply won't be the end of it. Someone else will buy your watch and be happy to get it. Just not worth the headaches involved.

I'd then sing like a canary about my experience with mister changes his mind shortly there after. ;)

There are crackheads with a dozen kids.. doesn't make them experienced parents.

Exactly what happened. I've just read the thread over at rg.
Should I ever sell a rep, I hope to not find such a "experienced" buyer

Mr. Peapods should sell half of his collection and then the members should not sell to him. That would do Peapatch a big favor before he has no pot to pea in.

How does one "prevent" themselves from selling a watch to a buyer like Peapods2 to avoid a similar situation with another buyer like Peapods2?

Is their a sticky on RWI to help sellers and buyers to inform them not to sell or buy from members like Peapods2?

:wyliehelp:

It's just conscious awareness on both sides - who to buy from and who to sell to and user's feedback.

I've seen countless "Catch and Release" sales. All else being above board, I can't imagine it would be very easy for the remorseful buyer to ever buy from the forum again.

:wyliehelp:

There is a sticky in the Sales Section. I mean it had the proper highlights and stuff. I guess nobody reads anymore.

IMPORTANT: Please read before buying anything from other members

As for Mr. Peashooter over there, I challenged him on his claim of buying 2500$ worth of reps in 6 months and yet only had 1 feedback and did not even give feedback to the only bloke who gave him one. That in itself is a red flag. You can find that tip in the thread I linked above.

Oh and +1 on what TB said. We call Buyer's Remorse watches Catch and Release. :D
