Mark1937 What do you feel about rest of the watch except the dial. I mean, how do you compare bracelet, case and bezel to gen?
Asking because i'll franken a CF or BTF with gen dial, hands, pushers and crown, but dont have CF or BTF in my hands yet so i dont know how they will feel. Not decided between them yet to start franken.

Thanks, CF case looks way more close to gen from photos, seems i'll go with it then

Guys, come on! But what do you expect from a rep? The images posted by Shotgun clearly show the excellent quality of the Clean. Is Bt better than Clean? It could be. I’m waiting for a BT \ GEN comparison to make a judgment. For example, from the photos it can clearly understand that the numbers on the Clean bezel are very close to gen (Shotgun, can you confirm?) ; if this is correct it means that the BT bezel has too thick numbers compared to gen, given the Bt bezel has thicker numbers than that of the Clean.

I was going to say that, nobody will zoom the watch and see. Buy it and enjoy. Some guys are too difficult.

For 800€ is great choice…
And yes bezel is stunning
Clearly, the replica is not the gen. But what about the white dial of the cf V2. Is the white really the same now compared to the gen? :raisedeyebrow:

It has been established that the V.1 problem is not the dial but the crystal. And Shotgun’s photos of the V.1 with changed crystal prove it.

I looked for a photo of the gen with lighting similar to yours. Your CF is a beautiful watch but I can clearly see that all the writings inside the counters are too marked, I sold my CF for this very effect. In the gen the gap between the white and black of the counters is much more evident. Just my opinion. Beautiful shots bro!

Thanks buddy . The crisp markings in the inner subdials are due to auto focus / sharpness done by phone camera . It is a lot less exposed in real life.
I do own the gen as well and i would agree they will never be one to one . But super close at this point.

To be picky, the photo of gen is not even in focus. In any case, it is an unhelpful comparison. Rep and gen side by side are the only useful and truthful comparisons. I look forward to the gen/BT comparison to figure out which 116500 is best out of the box
But what about the new crystal of the cf V2? What is now ultimately the better choice out of the box? Btf or cf?
