The Science Company has collected chemical patina recipes from a variety of sources and presents them in an organized list by metal type and color effects.
My 382 took a trip to the Gulf of Mexico. I wear it every day swimming in the salt water. It definitely achieves a pretty gnarly patina from salt water exposure.
I just cleaned mine tonight.. real complicated. Just let it sit in Ketchup. Brushed it down. The end.
Have never been a fan of forced patina. This had some really nice green markings on it, until I had to scrub some dirt out of the cervices and took allot of it off so decided to clean and polish it back to its natural beauty. I may keep it this way, I forgot how beautiful Rose-Gold ish beautiful it was.
Question for all you Bronzo fans out there... I love the look of the Panerai Bronzo, particularly the 47mm with the green face. However don't think my wrist can accommodate such a monster. I see there is a 42mm but only comes with a blue face which I don't really like. Does a 44mm Bronzo with green face exist anywhere ? Thanks.
