I saw a masterclass from @C Master at patinating a bronze Panerai on RWI. Unfortunately, the photos have disappeared. Is there any possibility of recovering them. https://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?...cs-here/&page=74&tab=comments#comment-227451624 hours yielded very little result.

It was these photos that inspired me to create an embossed strap with bronze patina for Panerai
I downloaded them to see what to aim for and to get the colour right.

It had patina
Patina removed by soaking in lemon juice.
Dipped in salt water before new patina.
Placed into a tub with ammonia, Bottle cap used to keep the watch out of direct contact with the ammonia. Then sealed for about 10 minutes.
The result
Cleaning it up
On the wrist
Cleaned lightly with a toothbrush and lemon juice to return it back to a light copper look.

It had patina
Patina removed by soaking in lemon juice.
Dipped in salt water before new patina.
Placed into a tub with ammonia, Bottle cap used to keep the watch out of direct contact with the ammonia. Then sealed for about 10 minutes.

My conclusion is that the New VSF factory uses a poorer or bronze / steel mix on the 42mm.

Definitely recommend the Prob Crystal if you don’t have one… way better quality and removed the fish eye effect

I had the strap patinated on Saturday.A Bronzo journey:
It had patina
On Sunday I put the bronze die to oxidise in a vessel. Today I removed the die from the vessel with this colourful oxidation.
This is the vibrant range of colours I got. Look how beautifully it goes with the strap

Great picture! I have this watch from Andiot coming my way as well. Where did you source this strap? I would like to get a rubber one as well to take it to the sea and develop some patina.
