I'm going to clean mine again soon,
I've tried PEEK,ketchup & lemon juice method.
PEEK looked too clean & almost gold but was by far the easiest method
Ketchup turned it pinkish but lemon juice was probably the best result IMHO

I'm really not bothered about the shiny new look. If I wanted that with this type of colour metal I would definitely have the 42mm 684 rose gold version. That contrast from black Matt bezel to shiny rose gold is a awesome look. It's change my mind about liking shiny gold colours again! Beautiful watch! [emoji6]

For me, Panerai is meant to be big, 42 is a no go.

I'm with you on that one fella,
Don't get me wrong because it's a mighty fine looking watch but I like my subs 47mm
My opinion only

I really love the pam684 rosegold, the only downside for me is it's size.
But I think that a 47mm sub rosegold could be too much.
At least we have our bronzos to play with

I have many variations of Pams from 42 to the 47mm. I don't have a problem wearing any size from 40mm upwards as my main interest started with Rolex anyway.
Luckily because I'm 6' 2" and have 7 1/2" wrist I suppose I can get away with wearing any size watch! [emoji6]

Give over Sparky, you have a gen Omega SMP 42mm just like me so how can you say a 42mm is too small? [emoji6]

Example on the wrist pictures and there's actually not much difference from 40mm to 47mm looking at them from a couple of feet away!

I'm not saying 42 or even 40mm is too small.
What I said is that I think 42 is small for a Panerai. That's it.
I wear 39 to 50mm without any problem.
For me, a 42mm Pam is the same as if Rolex launch a 47mm watch.

Alright pal,I definitely will do
I haven't got a patina that I'm totally happy with as of yet.
Don't get me wrong,I love the watch changing as the patina forms, but I'm too finicky......I'm sure I will get there in the end[emoji6]
