Breitling Avenger Gmt GF vs Gen

Breitling are pretty blingy in general so I think it might just be the right amount of blingy?

I'm not sure if it was in this thread or another one but someone posted theirs that they brushed with 3m pads and it looked sweet.
I have a gen Navitimer World and it is seriously bling with the bracelet. I put it on a rubber ocean Racer strap.

I recently brushed the bracelet of my old chronomat for that reason. Still striking, but less than before.

As mentioned I've got the gen. And for me it was too blingy. Inspired of the Seawolf I brushed the topside of the case and SS bracelet with 3M pads and Gerryflex abrasive block "medium". For best result I took the bezel apart from the case.
Everything can be done on the rep, too. Here is a quick pic:

Took the bezel apart and used back of Scotchrite kitchen sponge last night. Subdued it a little. Going to try something a little more abrasive as I want to dull it further. Would 220 wet/dry 3M be too much, followed by scotch brite again?
May be selling this on M2M, I like a lot of watches online but once they're on my wrist, it's different.

I'm not so sure they attained the dial "tone" as close as they have with the black & the blue dials... Couple of pictures of my GEN

Who's got the black steel version? It's pretty subdued for a Breitling, compared to polished SS?
It's hard to tell with those photos due to the different lighting conditions. The QC photos use a 5000k white light bulb, whereas your photos use a 3000k warm yellow bulb. We'd need side by side comparisons with the same lighting. I'll check to see if this has been posted on a TD site.

Your watch may exhibit the cream tone in hand, looking forward to see that.
Thus far the biggest tells I see on our new Breitling REPS are indicative of the Avenger & SuperOcean lines as follows..
Applied Breitling REP logo has upswept inward anchor [emoji572]? hooks, while GEN lays flatter and the cursive B in the logo has a larger loop hole in the center than GEN. This was comparing my GEN SO II & REP for example. Date wheels are sunken a bit with the REPS though NOT a BIG deal.
In regards to other points peeps have made with marker & hand color not matching, case back serial numbers being off in some, there are other tells as well. What the REPS did get right was the Sapphire crystal color & clarity, and the rhodium hands reflect just like GEN.

Because you keep asking all around the Breitling board if member's watches are made of titanium and saying how you got your Blackbird. It's getting old. Life's too short to keep reading the same crap again and again and again. WTF do your Blackbird QC pics have to do with the thread about Breitling Avenger II GMT? Why don't people post their Yachtmaster pics in the Submariner threads? And why am I a miserable asshole if you're doing that s#$t?
I just got the DLC version today. I'd say it's quite subdued compared to the SS. It has a really nice graphite color, and there is only a slight luster in direct sunlight.
