Not a good strap for sure. Like all GF straps i got so far. Watch was nearly perfect but their straps are crap.

Bracelet. Have the same as you .. SS bracelet. Light as a feather. Very shiny. Shi*** clasp.

Yes thats true mate. I did something yesterday while sizing the bracelet , it looks like its weight is a bit ok and so I put it on baby oil , that caused the friction to decrease and made the bracelet a bit better in feel , the problem looks to be the clasp. I suggest you to try oiling the bracelet. Let it for some hours on baby oil

I have bought the Blacksteel version and the black dial with SS bracelet, both V2 but never found what the difference with V1 is.
Just buy it and you will be happy with it!

From memory V1 was pre raids and V2 post raids...as for upgrades I don’t think there was any.
V1 Has AR coating spot on to gen, V2 still has AR but is lighter from what I have seen.
With both versions there is three different date fonts which vary depending on batches. One same as gen and the other two are close.
But yes buy it as it is a great rep!

Anybody tried their GF Avengers in swimming activities? Do you know how well it holds up as a beach watch?
I’ve had several and currently have a v2 volcano black dial. I swim and dive with it like a Submariner. Mine has held up well.

Before trying this I strongly recommend to check the waterproofness. Every watchsmith can do this easily just for a few bucks.

It doesn't matter which TD. Puretime, Intime, jtime. They all get you the same watch.
When you receive qc pictures, look at them carefully. TD's will do there best, but don't always spot present flaws. In this model, also take a close look at the date wheel font. I believe there are some with the wrong font.
As asked by For125 in the general Breitling eyecandy thread of this section, which I didn't want to pollute with all these pics, here are more pics here of my blue dial GF Avenger II GMT. This one is mounted with an ETA movement.
Also, after seals greased it passed the 5ATM water resistance test without a scratch.
Definitely one amazing replica by GF.
