Breitling Avenger Gmt GF vs Gen

I would have a local watchsmith test the watch for you. I bought a watch testing device. The first two watches I tested bubbled like theTitanic.

I’m about to pull the trigger on this GMT... has anyone discussed making the watch water resistance up to 6 atm so I can swim with it?

PT told me they don't have it, may I ask which TD does?

andyr I meant I’m disappointed there’s no estimated time of arrival for the Avenger GMT, BigBoo says TD new stock. I hope GF haven’t discontinued the watch!!Sorry

All the factories make the watches in batches. They always run out of stock on popular watches. You just have to wait. I usually leave my order in place so I am assured of getting a watch when the next batch is ready.

My TD told me it’s available... wondering if I should wait on placing the order if he’s going to comeback and say it’s unavailable and to pick another watch. I’m stuck on this Avenger GMT at the moment.

Who's the TD and what version you want to order? I want the DLC Blacksteel, the more orders, maybe the faster it comes in...

I order and wait as long as it takes. I have always received the watch I ordered. My longest wait was 4 months.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the two items? I'm close.to purchasing the one from asian but it's cheaper which tells me it may be the older GF version?

It is the same watch. When it was first released by GF it was called the blackbird. Here is a link for specifics except they have a typo in diameter. It is 44mm. Breitling refers to the watch as the Blackbird. It is an excellent Rep if you by the GF watch.

Right you are, seawolf is a beast on the wrist whereas the Blackbird can easily slide under a dress cuff

Hi mates, I just ordered an GF breitling avenger 2gmt but the QC of the movement shows an AMPLITUDE of 266, is it good enough?

Normal range is 270-310 so that's fine. Further winding will boost the amplitude.

Hi to all of you, i just received my breitling avenger 2gmt with ss bracelet and made by G factory. Just asking the ones who bought the same watch, does the bracelet feel not good? I mean not heavy ,like an empty cheap bracelet. I do not know how the gen feels like though. What your opinion on the bracelet?
