@Repworld , unfortunately no upgrade whatsoever. I can't open the videos you posted (it keeps showing some Chinese movie trailer or something). Which one is supposed to be the V2 in the above pic? The one on the right or the one on the left?

And you are also contradicting with your own original post. Look at all the Gen VS Rep pics that you posted at the beginning of the thread, if they changed anything but the hour marker colors, then it was a step back, and as you can clearly see, they didn't change that...so just adding a rubber strap doesn't qualify it as V2 (like we all know that some TDs have been selling Noob V8 Hulks for a while...lol, totally unnecessary marketing gimmick)

If you are showing the one on the right as the new one than they messed up the DW color...again look at your first set of pics. Also look at the QC pics of these supposedly v1 and v2 pelase, you will se ZERO difference including dw font color

a more faint white color DW was present in the previous version (which I don't believe it exists)...I don't even know which one is more gen like at this point since it is such a small detail and varies whole a lot with the light angle

Hey guys let's give @Repworld a break. Sure some of his posts are a bit iffy and some pics are obviously wrong but I personally value his side by sides and they do give an early indication of whats upcoming in most cases. Whatever his reason for posting its not really important, it gives us all something to get our teeth into and there's enough of us on here can spot the shit from shinola, so keep em coming I say

It is not what he posts (we all know where he posts them from and I appreciate the fact that he takes the time to do so) but how he posts them. I mean look at the way he speculated about the so called v2 (total BS). I would be ok if he only shared a link or whatever but when he goes on and on about stuff that doesn't even exist... that's another story. I mean, I don't want to change the subject but if you have seen any of his v2-v3-v4...posts on jf OP (since day one!), then you know what I'm talking about.

I always try to be objective and fair towards his posts by giving examples and etc but I agree that he gets over criticized from time to time.

Just to be clear mate, I wasn't having a go at you personally or anybody else. It was a general comment that like you, I appreciate that he takes the time to post - whatever his reasons - and would rather he kept doing so as they stimulate discussion. The great safety net we have here, as you and others prove, is that we have a community that can spot the dodgy posts a mile off which is both fun and really educational for other members.

Its a definite yes from me mate. I have tried the gen in black and white/silver and the rep really doesn't feel or look that different. We concentrate a lot on the black dial but the white is right up there too. The blue however is too far off.

Which watch are you guys talking about for NWBIG? Blackbird only comes in black. I presume you meant avenger gmt @andyr? If that's the case, blue looks spot on (like black) but the white one is off.
