BR03's are non-existent! Does anyone have a source?

Just an FYI, the blue and green ceramic actually have white hands and dial markers. The sapphire crystal on those models has a colored tint to it which makes the markers look colored.

I usually don't like grey market sellers like authenticwatches, but I did buy a new B&R from Jomashop.com last year and their prices and service were excellent.

Also, check your local watch dealer if you can. Just a few months after it came out, I was able to get a brand new 03-92 Commando for $2,700 with full AD stamp/warranty. I've bought a ton of gen B&Rs over the past few years. If never recommend paying over $3,000 for a non limited edition 03-92.

Thanks for the great info Scottie. The blue hands / numerals was limited. They also made an orange hands / numerals.

I have a mail into them asking if they are prepared to adjust the price on a couple I like. If they give me a fair shake I will buy and if not I will opt for the refund.

I can get the SS black face / white hands & numerals for $2,414.33. I'd like another 5% or more off. I'll see how eager they are to keep my money.

Will also look into Jomashop!

W
PS: Got my TC V6 today which took the sting of this whole B&R thing. It looks amazing. I'm wearing a gen sub today and cannot believe what a great rep he makes. Its on par or better with his YM he did last year. I'll do a photo set and mini review as soon as I have some spare time.

The Blue hand/dial 03 was not limited edition, just limited production. The 03-92 orange was limited of 250.

FYI - there is a good deal for an excellent condition 03-92 Blue on eBay right now - http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=111420535763

Yes, I've seen that one. It in OK shape but well worn. You have to put a lot of miles on that watch to pooch a hole in the rubber strap. I wish he had posted better pics of the worn areas. I don't think it will sell if in fact it gets a bid. Used gen market is slow now for the less popular brands.

I may go with the SS. We'll see. I have so much on the go now that watches are taking a back seat but I have to do something with that money I have sitting at AW.com

W

UPDATE: That Blue on Black sold for $1,699 + shipping. Good price but it had some miles on it. I don;t feel so bad that AW cannot supply. Still may go SS. They offered me another $75 off and a 6 year warrenty. I'm deciding and with the US buck going uo my money there is like money in the bank!

Soooo.... Anyone heard of any new B&R reps being released? I still am on the fence as to what to do now that the blue on black I want is N/A?

Would love a good quality rep.

I just got my TC V6 today and I have rep fever again. I am getting it ready for a spa treatment here. Will post a review in a few days.

You know I never realized that until you mentioned it. But the only diff. I see is the second hand. It does not have the whale tail / fin or whatever they call that thing.

The second and minute hands and the rounded 3, 6, 9, & 12 font have been copied from the heritage model.

Will have to find time to take some pics but I have been very busy on another motorcycle project. I collect and restore old Japanese Superbikes and this one has been sucking up all my time:

http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/showthread.php?225466-My-1982-Katana-1100-restoration-COMPLETE!

It was complete but I discovered a problem that is going to take a few more days to resolve. I've been covered in grease for the longest time and you'll forgive me if I am tardy in getting pics up. I want though as the packaging is spectacular (to the point of overkill)

PS: Thanks for the info on the hands / numerals Scottie!

I'm not into motorbikes at all but this looks amazing Wayne! Keep up the good work and post pics of your BR when you catch some time. ;)

Just curious, 300, have you heard anything from Lucy/sent her an email recently? I'll reach out and ask if you haven't (hope that's kosher with you).

Haven't spoke to Lucy in ages. Been buying more gens than reps lately. Having winding problems with 2 TC watches. My Yachtmaster and the V6 I got just a few months back. Disappointed. Gonna get them fixed and sell them off. I still enjoy wearing my Pam 299 rep and a few others I have. Also want to sell my Jorg Hysek. Just too big for me. Gorgeous tough. Lucy got it waterproofed for me too. search my posts to see it.

I assume given the lack of activity on this forum that the BR03-92 reps never materialised again ??
