Ebzen, my new Sea Dweller did not have the fat hour hand like my old. The lume color in daylight is still off slightly.

Ok, case machined, rehaut made, crystal fitted. Not happy with it at al, there is a visible joint between the new rehaut and the remainder of the existing!. Also not too sure about the new rehaut angle ? I can take the whole of the existing rehaut out, so no visible seam. Think this is the way to go.

I'll post pictures tomorrow for your comments and advice

do gens have a removable rehault like bp?ado ill pm you soon to work on my sd.

The BP SD does not have a separate rehaut, the gen does as far as I am aware.

ok so the seprate rehault on gen is that the gasket for the crystal ?

Ok, the rehaut is the stainless steel ring you can see between the crystal and the dial ( on subs it's the part with ROLEX etched all the way around it)

on the gen SD this is a separate item that is remove able from the case itself, on the BP it's part of the case and cannot be removed.

The he pictures I will post tomorrow will, I am sure clarify the set up.

Ok I got bored today and had a few spare BP Dials to play with... I baked one, probably a tad too long but I like it, the pics make it look way more brown than it really is... Only thing I don't like is how all the writing also goes brown... Now if someone wants to share their secret on how to matte the dial and give it a nice sandpaper like finish it would be much appreciated

Ok got bored again. Decided to swap the indices over onto the other BP dial... Bear in mind this is the first time doing any of this for me.. So naturally I effed it up pretty good lol... Bit of superglue came through from the back on the 5 o'clock indice sat there for ages with a bit of nail polish remover and half a cotton bud (q tip)... Here's the result...

Hello guys i have read your threads.. (not all)
I am interested in bp sd but i have some questions:
1) Does ryan from intime has it?
2)From these that i have read most of you change the hands and the bracelet. I have not understood what do the bp hands and bracelet have and you changed. Can you inform me? If i don't change it do i have problem?
