Sorry if this have been answered but how bad is the crown position/height on the BPSD

This thread is very interesting: the title says "the best SD available" yet after reading the posts there are so many things wrong (hands, lume, crown position, insert, etc).
To me this sounds like BPSD is no better than any other Rolex rep out there.

What's wrong with the insert? The pearl is by far the best around IMO. Also the Crown position is pretty damn good and Lume problems?

Looks pretty good to me.

It's not a perfect rep... But I think it is the best around.

What you are seeing is a mix of veterans and newer members who are enjoying the discussion about how to make a great watch even better. Get the watch and enjoy it out of the box. When a flaw bothers you, upgrade it. Otherwise it's good to go.

+1 (except the SPH-L710 part, I'm using a HTC ONE X and type with my tongue)

The argument that this BPSD is the best SD was won pages ago. I doubt you actually read the whole thread phidik :nah:..... Or.......

On the contrary, I actually placed an order for BPSD and then decided to change it to Milgauss. I would certainly love to get an SD or sub (but not dssd, too big), which ever is most accurate otb.

The first few pages of this thread mainly talk about how nice the BP version is and then as it progress members start talking about adding TC stuff, clark stuff, etc. In my opinion, when you need to add quite a number of component (hands, insert, pearl, bracelet) to make it more accurate then it wasn't good enough otb, right?

Right!
But there isn't any rep that is going to look the same as gen OTB.
They may be close. But you are always going to have to mod them to get them to look more accurate.

These guys are perfectionist. They will add a gen bracelet if it is affordable enough and ready available.

it is pretty darn good otb, IMO.

This one is easily made into a super rep.... so.... as the title says.....

PM me. I have one midcase non lug holes drilled left. No bezel, but has the crown, tube, crystal.

Just got my BPSD back from Alex at UKWatch services.

TC crown and tube installed, plus a set of TC hands, also have a TC SD bracelet on it

Alex greased the seals, and it passed the 5ATM waterproof test, quick photo below.
