TC Dial, hands, bracelet and DWO V3
Gen Insert, Stem, Crown,
ETA 2836-2

PBdad mods: CG shaved, movement regulated, and pressure tested to 30 ATM. Finally had the watch brushed to match and the HE valve polished per Gen of this version.

This watch can be comfortably represented as Gen. The only tell would be crystal height, but it is negligible tell to untrained eye.

 Good point not sure to be honest. DAMN now I have to drill out lug holes. Not a bad idea now that I think about it.

It does have the flat 4 insert which is the old version.

I'm seriously thinking about picking up a matte dial and drilling some lug holes and making mine a 16660...

How did you do all that work?
Was it you? Or a watch smith?
Would you be interested in doing it again n flipping to me?

I should get mine back this week! So far just Clark hands and TC bracelet. Thinking about doing gen crown. Didn't someone already confirm gen crystal won't work?

Yes you can use glue. Make sure to clean out the inside of the bezel so that it's free of any residue. Fit the new insert, make sure it's set into the bezel properly..study a lot of pictures of the genuine watch to see how it sits. If it sits too high, sand it very carefully on a flat surface a tiny bit at a time and test fit often as you go.
I use Gorilla glue in micro amounts. I use a tiny needle or a small sized watch oiler to do this. You want just a few micro tiny dots of the glue every quarter inch or so on the inner area of where the insert rests. I mean really tiny droplets...and not a lot of it..about the size of one of these periods.. . .... Remember Gorilla glue expands as it drys...hence the micro amounts. It is also really strong and you do not want it permanant. You can use blue painters tape in real small pieces to hold the insert in place while it dries.
Be careful, and take your time fitting and gluing and it will come out fine.

Thank you very much
I will try to get this glue that you are talking about.
I think that must be easyer to remove the bezel too.

Thank you very much
