BP Seadweller.. Best SD available Period

With TC out of the game and inconsistent quality from other sources, I need to ask....Did anyone buy spare Clark hands recently?
Is the lume decent or too greenish?
Other sources for decent hands?

Speaking of hands I’ve noticed that my BP has a hole or dimple in the center of the minute hand and on most gens the center axis is a solid dome. Is this a flaw or do you see on gens as well?

I am afraid it's a flaw.

I googled and eBayed prior to posting if that helps. All the handsets you linked to have the hole or dimple. I have noticed the old Red Sea dwellers and the 2017 sea dwellers have the dimple but rarely see on the 16600.

My bad, I probably misunderstood what you really meant for hole.
I cannot see any hole in gen hands but as said it's probably me, I am no expert at all about Rolex

Yes it is a flaw. The only way to solve this problem is to use TC v3 hands but you can't get them anymore

Also the text “Orignal Gas Escape Valve” on the case back is too small on my version.

I read most of this thread but didn’t catch these flaws mentioned. Everything else is close enough for me OTB.

Will you use a AR'ed stock crystal or Profsteve will provide one spare crystal?

Normally I get a 2XAR crystal from Steve. I have them on three of my TCs but on this watch I wanted AR on the inside only. Steve provides good quality genuine size crystals or you can send him one

Yeah, I had the same plan (single side coating to make the crystal less milky) but I was wondering if you wanted to send Steve your stock crystal or source a new one with 1side coating directly from him.

My only concern is....single side AR coating might be not such a visible improvement if the crystal has a bad clarity

Just have some used gen hands relumed to match the dial patina with or without luminous material. If it were me I would use hands that glow so you can tell the time in the dark, Who is going to do the case work to fit the Gen Crystal, gen bezel and Yuki 3135. The only person that has ever done all three is Adrian @ado213 , I would buy an unserviced Yuki from Tickleshoes and have Adrian service it.

Who out there re-lumes hands and pearls?? I got some gen tritium hands and they are a little lighter than the dial. I have all the stuff for this build including a gen Rolex winding rotor assembly. Getting excited for it all to come together once Adrian has some time.

Even on my SD the text on the case back is too small...I think all the new SD is like that instead the old ones are a more accurate case back...

I don't know either...I only now that I'm disappointed. From QC pics the text didn't seem too small but when I got the watch I realized that how bad is it.
