Sead told me that the SEL is bad - the only way to fix this is a tc bracelet?

Further (budget)mods could be:

gen crown?
DOESN'T FIT WITHOUT GEN SPEC TUBE. TUBE DIESNT FIT WITHOUT MODDING THE CASE

tc hands?
WON'T FIT ON THE CLONE 2824 IN THE BP WITHOUT CHANGING THE WHEELS OR SOMETHING (I'M NOT A WATCHSMITH SO I ONLY HAVE A LAYMAN'S UNDERSTANDING)

the stock crystal is ok, is a clarks a big improvement?
USUALLY WSO OR JANDK BUT THEIR QUALITY VARIES BY BATCH. WON'T FIT ON THE CASE WITHOUT EXTENSIVE MODDING

DEPENDS WHAT YOU MEAN. IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO MAKE THE SCALLOPS DEEPER WITHOUT EACH ONE VARYING IN DEPTH AND WIDTH. IF YOU WANT TO IMPROVE THE BEZEL YOU MUST INSTALL A GENUINE ONE. THAT CAN'T BE DONE WITHOUT EXTENSIVE MODDING.

NOWHERE, TC NO LONGER EXIST. KEEP YOUR EYES ON "WATCH PARTS" IN THE FORUM AND MAYBE SOMETHING COULD BE THERE.

Also, as far as TC parts go. I wouldn't even bother. They are only available on m2m and literally are sold within minutes of being posted. So the odds that you will be lucky enough to see them posted and snag them before they are bought is slim to none.

Yeah I wouldn't even think about starting this project until after sourcing the tc parts, if you are so lucky.

thank you- i know my post was not that clear- i wrote what came in my mind.

I have been reading for hours but for a beginner its hard to understand everything and to keep it in mind.

my intention is to buy a SD and maybe wear it for some times as it is(like you did for a year as i think i have read..).

Therefore the question for the movement( i didn't see a lot about the 3135 or a mioyta) and the SEL because I've seen its hard to get a tc bracelet.

So the conclusion for me is:

Find a modder for the SEL, make it water-resistant and have fun with this beautiful watch and start real modding :adoration:

Haven't seen anything on a BP SD4k, but the Noob v2 SA3135 SD4k is great! Definitely my recommendation to buy. Have the movement serviced and crystal height fixed as soon as you get it (they can do it at the same time)

Looks Great Thrasher!! Couldn't be a better place for it them with your killer watch! You watch blows my mind every time I look at it. I think I like your watch better then my Gen SD4k!

It's amazing how good it looks on the wrist. I just can't say enough good things about Adrian's work.

Another bravo for Adrian. I send him loads of watches usually with shit instructions and he does what he can, if he can't do something or its a risk he always tells me the risk beforehand, he's one of the forums best kept secrets that is best kept secret.

@ado213 I'm coming up your way next month I think I owe you a curry and a pint or two!
