I bought the watch M2M with it already installed. Its a Yuki dial.
Gen 7030 NOS tube and gen 704 NOS crown installed, rework again a little bit CG's, repolish and resatin case e bracelet with Bergeon products, keyless swap with all eta genuine parts and some other minor adjustement
To me it looks like the tube is sticking out a bit. I could just be seeing things. Did you machine the case so that the Gen tube fits?
Yes mate, the case was countersunk for TC tube crown set originally, but gen tube then doesen't fit well (check pics)
So then with ado help my modder make a counterbore and actually the tube fit on the case like genuine rolex. I've compared the old 703 tube of my father 16610LN from 1992 and it's matt/opaque, but mine it's polished like a mirror. Tube was NOS blistered, like also the crown. So i think rolex have upgraded it maybe?
However chek pic actually it's fit on the case like gen. The crown when you screw it arrive on the end on it's theard so this is the result
GEN:
Here it's mine:
Pretty sure the gen doesn't have the gap that big when the crown is being screwed down, heard that with gen tube, it has a groove which additional work has to be done to the case to accept it perfectly

The tube fit perfectly on the case actually to me, like in the first gen pics that i've upload to compare with it.
It's a 7030 nos tube and 704 nos crown. This crown compared to TC one seems "skinny" (thinner)
When you screw down the tube this is the result at the end of the theard. It's really strong/hard tu turn compared with TC
Noticed that this tube it's polished like a mirror, but 703 of my father 16610 gen sub it's full matte/opaque
Mhmh the tube seems to me fine [emoji848] maybe a white background speech? Or the crown with a thick gasket? (But all the gaskets are gen. [emoji848]).
I have seen always this effect in genuine, that replica watches are difficult to do, and only with gen tube you can do this effect. I've seen many tubes (TC, phong, WSO etc etc) and no one is like gen. however i have tried to look for some pics of gen samples in clear/white background and it seems that the ripped off is similar (but I could go wrong).
I've also just made some photos of my SD in different light conditions so you can see better if there is a real problem, but i don't think so
They have been reported cases after cases including myself and Ephry over at RWG we all have mounted Yuki 3135 in these cases. But it's been awhile and I have no ideal of the case construction has been changed or what going on?
But up to a year ago you could fit a Yuki movements in these cases...with little mods?
So IDK what's going on? But I got a newer case from Sead and soon as I find a gen dial and another Yuki we will see if it will fit or not??
You can say that, dam. Makes me wanna buy one again.Looks stock to me, but that's a pretty good pic
