I got mine through M2M and the mods were performed by ado! I was really lucky because normally no one would ever let go such a piece.


Is it possible to have the capped cannon pin like the TC V7? I know its a small detail but is it possible to have it fixed? V3 hands maybe?

very nice. he is the best person on the forum to work on the bpsd. I honestly have to say changing the crystal to a WSO made a huge difference. The BP crystal has this weird color to the chamfer. can you post a link to the sales thread from where you purchased the sd, id' love to check it out

My plans in the future are to get the bezel teeth improved, V3 hands and clone 3135 if the price for the build is hot.

What kind of clickspring do you guys have? I popped the bezel as you guy told me to and it worked. The spring is short and straight. Is it not supposed to be bend to get better into the teeth on the inside? I clicks quite nice but it is really stiff I have to say. I cut about 1mm of the spring and it got better but it is still quite stiff. Do you recommend me to swap the spring for a gen spring? I've read that the gen spring is hit or miss.

EDIT: I got it over RG. The thread is named " (bla bla...) ->one of a kind". The price was maybe a little steep but it was worth it hehe.

I'm still waiting like a little kid for my TC SD parts to arrived. I already have wso crystal, wso gen spec tube, gen crown, gen insert.

It will then go off to ado.

Tc crown is not worth it, try to get a gen. Mine tc crown snapped, so I learned it the hard way.

Its my very strong belief that the dial and hands should be seen, with that in mind I'm of the opinion you should either go WSO with @rnrprof 2XAR coating or one of his Swiss 2XAR coated crystals or a new Genuine Crystal.

Originally when planning my build I only decided to do the crystal mod because, why not? I thought I might as well do it if I'm doing everything else.

Now that I have the watch back I would say , absolutely do it. I feel the wso crystal is a huge step up from the bp crystal. The chamfer looks totally different , the height is correct, and I swear the crystal just seems more clear.

I would do the crystal mod with wso, prof 2AR like @Thrasher says, or a gen crystal
