I never pretend to be an expert on here but I do spend an awful lot of my spare time looking at pictures of Gen's and Rep's.
For what it's worth if I was a betting man I would bet on this insert being genuine.

Genuine Flat 4 Yes or No, The seller was reputable and it looks good to me plus I have never seen a replica 16600 flat four insert so? What say you? @Raddave @occb2 @Subjeff @Q5? @R2D4 @M_Hall @ado213
Please pardon the finger prints my concern is it looks brand new aside from some scratches on the edges.

Print looks good, but the shot from the rear definitely doesn't look like it matches mine??, perhaps it the light ? Strangest thing is my insert has very very similar marks on the rear side.
I'll send you some shots of my gen via mail so you can compare

There is a rumor going around that the yuki 3135 and JF SA3135 are the same movement but the JF has all engravings and is cheaper. Does someone know if it is possible to swap my ETA 2836 with TC dial and hands directly to a JF3135 ? I think I might need new hands and have to mod the dial but is it possible to use a 3135 in a 2836 case?
That would be a really nice upgrade to the watch if the rotor is quit and time setting is like gen. Even if you open the watch it will fool most people

This is great news to bad the JF watch is not the same quality as NOOB or BP and definitely not better than TC. But its great because this will force Yuki to lower his price and I still get yukis!

I think ado has put a yuki in turbo350z bpsd. Thanks! Since yuki's and JF's 3135 are the same, the price will drop soon and I have always considered a SA 3135 in my franken build, which will give the watch a big upgrade. Correct time setting funktion, quit rotor and even open up the caseback will look almost like gen. I have a BPSD with a gen tissot ETA 2836 in it and I plan to swap to a 3135 in the future. Does someone know how much it costs what has to be modded?
Interesting with the 3135, what's the thoughts on the BP with 2836 with the option to upgrade using the TC against the BP with a 3135? I'm thinking a number of the upgrade could still be done with 3135 version. Sorry for the questions, just trying to get a clear picture of the options.
I think if the BP factory SD gets the Yuki 3135 it will be a giant win for everyone, The trouble is as soon as you get the movement you should service it and get it some genuine parts like Tickleshoes or Misiekped can provide. That of course will up the cost significantly and for those on a budget it might be smart to stick with the A2824/2836 for reliability. You also need to make sure its really the Yuki that JF factory got and not some sorry SA3135 or A3135 from the past those old ones wont take genuine parts and when they break cant be repaired.
Ask Sead at Supermirrors he can get one for you. That is not the Yuki movement
