That's a fair point. Sead is offering it and I know he's very well respected here though I'm sure he's not opening up every watch to confirm...
Sead is great! Not that the movement won't be Swiss. But most likely it won't be brand new. They have been known to build Swiss moments out of old parts. Plus.. The eta clone is rock solid

OH GOD NO, BP Swiss movements are worse than the worst Asian 2836 you will ever find.
After I knocked the Bondo out of my BP Swiss Movement a 1987 Yogo spring feel out!

Would it be possible to install a gen bezel? Just the bezel, not the ENTIRE bezel construction...
A lot cheaper than what? A genuine bezel and insert will run you 500$ the SD has no retainer ring like subs do. The bezel connects right to the case.

93250 v5 bracelet $45 without clasp. Am I correct in thinking the bp clasp is better? ( mines pretty good)

V6 bracelet is the one u want if available and TC clasp is better than BP. But if on a tight budget then BP will do. But the last link side wall will be polished and rest of bracelet not
