The pearl is by far the most obvious difference, followed by the CGs. Crystal is a big improvement too. I didn't plan on keeping this, but now I don't think I can get rid of it!

25 Teeth on the Rep Crown I counted, should be 24. That was the same for the prior models. So the crown has to go as has been stated.

1. The mods you are having done, the lume and the crown, I would do that anyway. (At least get the hands done.)
2. You will have a nice solid watch.

C'est la vie réplique. I'm a little disappointed that I built my 16660 on the old SSD case instead of this one, but oh well.

ETA 2824 hand dimensions are as follows:

Hour: 150 (1.50mm)
Minute: 90 (0.90mm)
Seconds: 20 (0.20mm)

DG2813 hands are as follows:

Hour: 150 (1.50mm)
Minute: 100 (1.00mm)
Seconds: 17 (0.17mm)

Make your own decision on that.

Have done so already - I had some worried over the date wheel and 6 marker at QC stage and asked for further photos - but camera angles can be very deceptive.

The mark under the crystal is proving difficult to photograph due to non AR crystal but it seems like a smuge of grease or something?

Overall rep seems well built and these sorts of issues cam be fixed it's just a little disheartening. I agree with previous posts about the hands - they are a big weakness.

All the markers (6 and 9) are off, including mine. (9) That and the crystal are probably easy fixes that you would have had to do anyway. The datewheel, I haven't seen a perfect one yet, honest. You do what you have to do buddy. Just know you are not alone.

I just think this watch is so much better looking than a Sub. If I like mine.. I'll get it modded up and sell my TC sub. (I know, I know, the TC is "perfection"), but who cares about perfection when you like the way another watch looks

I've been researching and it could be that hands and other parts could be swapped with 2824/36 ones.
