Actually, I think TC did have some SD inserts. He also had some SD dials and hands. I bought a set.

Hmm maybe. I've read this entire thread going back to 2013 and I've never heard of an sd insert. Just dial hands dwo bracelet

I am trying to install a TC SD dial. May I know what is the best method to shave the TC dial's diameter without damaging its delicate surface?

Currently with only TC hands installed. It's an eye sore to see the crooked indices...

Unless you have access to a jeweler's lathe the only way I know is very carefully with a Dremel Tool with a grinding tip. It doesn't look great on the edges but they are all covered when it's installed and it looks fine.

Thanks KBH but I have no access to dremel. I was thinking if sandpaper method would work....or maybe will just get a cheapo dremel from the bay.

I didn't need to shave my dial. I know very early on there were a few cases that had that issue. Are the new ones like that?

Damn, 2 days since an update to what is probably the best thread…
So I'll pose a question.

What do you guys think are the true changes to the stock bpsd over the last few years?

I think the cg went up and down then fat to fatter then shrank a bit recently.
Lume seemed to change in about early 2014 maybe to more white (uncharged)?
The pip seemed to get more gen like late 2013…
Bracelet improved 2014 only to be less weight now?
That insert to my eyes has always been good.

Did anyone ever notice any change in the font?

Friend of mine over at the Geek said the newest BPSD wasn't as good as the old ones that really only had uneven lume problems on the hands which was a easy fix with TC SD dial and hands...and reworked the crown guards... He said all was well after those mods...some say not a lot of differences but the like?
