Damn bro, you have spent some time on this. Very nice pic captures. A few comments.
Terms get thrown around loosely, but it's generally accepted that Wrapped means thick coating (~15mils) and Plated means thin coating (~5mils). Wrapped USED to mean SELS covered but no more. Plenty of Bluesies are Wrapped without covered SELs (sadly). Plated used to mean SELs not covered but no more. These BP TT RGs are an example.
Every BP TT RG I have seen posted by members has had the SEL sides covered, unlike its more expensive GMF sibling, as I noted previously. The same is not true for TT YG, where plated models (as these all are) do not have covered SELS.
So you really can't use the terms wrapped or plated anymore to correlate to SEL side coverage. You have to ask that question separately.
There is a difference between a 2813 GMT movement and a 3804. A 2813 does not have an independent GMT hand, it is an AM/PM indicator, you must use the bezel to observe a 2nd time zone. None of these listings have 2813 movements, as both of the 2813 listings show independent GMT hands, proving they are 3804s (which is admittedly a 2813 variant, but different enough it should be stated properly).
You are right about Trusty using the same pics for the new 3804 and the 3186. It's a different video but it's the same watch. That is NOT good for the subject watches of this thread.
The old 3804 at $208 is not a watch I would buy, as it has a 2813 (non-Rolex font) DW although it does look like it has a gen-spec dial (Rolex date window position). It is a different dial, because it has different feet positions but looks the same as the others.
So what does the new 3804 DW look like? Are we paying $70 more for the same watch with an unknown reliability and a hand stack that looks jury rigged in all honesty. If you are going to put the GMT hand above the hour hand like gen, you should make the hand hole surround smaller than the hand below it like gen, and like Noob does.
You can't rely on what Andrew's minions tell you. I've had many wrong answers from them. I agree with everything you said in your summation.
Someone bought and recently sold a 16710 new 3804 CHS. The hand stack is just like the new 3804s listed on Trusty and subject of this thread. And the DW is Rolex fonts, with a gen-spec dial. If that's what we can expect on the new 6 digit 3804s, I can probably live with the gnarly GMT hand hole surround. As long as the movement doesn't prove to be a time bomb.

So there really are 4 different BP models, 2 CHS, 2 ICHS, one of each in ETA or DG movement. The 3186 is a 2824 BTW with fake engravings. The 2 DGs (3804) are cheaper and between them the CHS is more. The 2 ETAs are more expensive, and between them the CHS is more. That's all logical.
All four of them in TT RG should have covered SELs. If I were just buying one for my collection, no question in my mind it would be the 2836 ICHS. I am only interested in the 3804 CHS because of the novelty and because of my curiosity in the movement. It's a new accomplishment in rep movements, though it would have been a significant cut above if they had made the GMT hand hole surround smaller than the hour hand hole surround. It's possible that hand can be replaced, depending on the hole size. There are lots of aftermarket GMT hands out there.
Which one are you looking to purchase?
